Casio’s U.S. catalog includes the full-metal G-SHOCK GMW-B5000D-1C and GM-B2100SD, pairing two familiar designs with stainless-steel construction. The square digital GMW-B5000D-1C adds Multiband 6 radio timekeeping; the analog octagonal GM-B2100SD-1C lists Bluetooth connectivity but not radio control. Casio’s U.S. catalog displayed a $600 regular price for the GMW-B5000D-1C, though catalog presence and price do not establish current stock or a launch date.
Two full-metal watches, two different G-SHOCK designs
Casio identifies the watches as the GMW-B5000D-1C and GM-B2100SD-1C. The GMW-B5000D-1C is a digital square that draws on the original DW-5000C, including its brick-patterned face, SHOCK RESIST logo and mode/function indicators. The GM-B2100SD-1C takes the analog 2100 family’s octagonal bezel and uses red, yellow and blue accents on a black dial. Casio’s international product page presents the design and feature details for both models.
Both use stainless-steel exterior elements and metal bands. Casio says fine-resin buffers sit between each stainless-steel bezel and case, while a three-pronged band connection helps disperse shock at the connecting pipes. Casio also describes the bezels and cases as forged, cut and polished, with a hairline finish on the bezel top and mirror-finished beveled edges. The company says the models are made at Yamagata Casio.

What Casio’s U.S. catalog establishes
Casio America’s U.S. best-seller catalog displayed the GMW-B5000D-1C at a $600 regular price and included a GM-B2100SD in its full-metal lineup. That is a catalog snapshot, not confirmation of present-day price, inventory, or a particular release date. The catalog also surfaced the GM-B2100SD-1A variant, so shoppers should check the full model reference and suffix before comparing listings or prices.
The available official U.S. catalog information does not establish the exact U.S. announcement date or show that both exact variants became available on the same day. It supports the narrower point that Casio’s U.S. catalog carries the models, rather than a claim about a simultaneous launch.
