Casio announced the EDIFICE TOM’S 50th Anniversary Edition EFS-S641TMS on July 23, 2024. It commemorates the Japanese racing team’s 50th anniversary with design cues from TOM’S KP47 Starlet race car. What is special about the TOM’S anniversary edition?
The watch marks 50 years of TOM’S, which Casio says was established in 1974. Casio describes TOM’S as Toyota’s official tuning team, involved in aftermarket parts, complete cars, and racing. EDIFICE has been an official partner since 2013, according to Casio.
The design takes inspiration from TOM’S KP47 Starlet, an early race car associated with the team. Casio says the car’s white, red, and green colors inform the watch’s accents. The inset dials evoke wheels, while a honeycomb detail references the car’s grille. Case-back engravings carry TOM’S and EDIFICE branding.

Casio’s July 23, 2024 announcement credits the KP47 Starlet with 22 pole positions, 20 wins, and 3 series champion victories in 1970s minor touring competition — figures published by Casio Computer Co., Ltd. in 2024.
