The Casio G-SHOCK GM-S110 is a smaller-format, metal-covered update to the GM-110, retaining its sculpted bezel and layered dial. Casio says it is 86% as wide as the GM-110 and 3.9 mm slimmer. Casio’s current U.S. listing confirms the GM-S110-1A is represented on that market’s product site, but the available official pages do not establish a rollout to additional markets or current stock in every region.
What is the Casio GM-S110?
The GM-S110 belongs to G-SHOCK’s metal-covered line. Casio describes it as an update to the GM-110: it keeps the earlier model’s intricate bezel shape and dial design while using a more compact profile. The smaller dimensions are a product comparison, not a claim about market reach or sales.
Casio’s international product page gives the relative size figures: the GM-S110’s width is 86% of the GM-110’s, and its profile is 3.9 mm slimmer. Those comparisons are stated on Casio’s undated international product page, checked in 2026. Separately, Casio Japan’s 2022 launch announcement lists the original models at 42 mm in diameter and 13 mm thick; those figures should not be assumed to apply to every regional SKU without checking that model’s specification.
How is the case and dial constructed?
The watch combines a metal bezel with a shock-resistant case made from glass-fibre-reinforced resin. Casio describes the bezel as having hairline and mirror finishes across different surfaces. A urethane band completes the metal-and-resin construction.

The dial uses resin-molded, three-dimensional components, with metallic finishes on several parts to add depth and contrast. The design is therefore metal-covered rather than an all-metal case. Casio describes the dial components as metallic-finished; it does not characterize the overall case as matte in the cited product descriptions.
Which GM-S110 versions were announced?
Casio Japan’s September 29, 2022 announcement named three variants, scheduled to go on sale in Japan on October 8, 2022. The finishes and model codes were:

To check a purchase in your region, search Casio’s local site by the full suffix (for example, GM-S110-1A) and verify the specific colorway and retailer stock. Do not infer local availability from the Japan launch announcement or from the U.S. listing.
