The Casio Pro Trek PRW-6900BF-1 Bonfire pairs an analog-digital display with a compass, barometer, altimeter and thermometer, plus Tough Solar charging and Multiband 6 radio time calibration. Casio’s published specifications make it a feature-rich outdoor watch; they do not establish real-world sensor accuracy, comfort or durability. This is a specifications-based guide, not a firsthand review.

Why Casio calls it Bonfire
The name refers to the design rather than a separate function. Casio describes the forged-texture metal bezel as evoking cast-iron cookware. The dial treatment draws on camping equipment, including a Dutch-oven surface and a small hand modeled on a camping knife. Red phosphorescent details on the hands’ tips and indexes are intended to recall firelight. Casio says the treatment appears white in light and red in darkness; that is the manufacturer’s description of the visual effect, not an independent measurement.
Casio Japan also says bio-based plastic is used in the case, band and resin case back. That identifies materials; it does not quantify the watch’s lifecycle environmental impact.

What the specifications can—and cannot—tell you
The published feature set is useful for comparing the watch on paper: it has the four named sensor functions, solar charging, radio time calibration, a 10-bar water-resistance rating and a 65 g listed weight in Mexico. The documentation does not independently verify how accurately the sensors perform in the field or how the watch wears over time. It also does not establish battery performance, durability, or value against alternatives. Those judgments require testing or directly comparable evidence beyond the manufacturer’s specifications.
