On April 27, 2021, Citizen announced six Star Wars versions of its Ana-Digi Temp watch for Japan, with reservations planned to begin May 6 and release scheduled for September 2021. The limited-edition lineup paired the retro-futuristic analog-digital design with R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, BB-8, Boba Fett, and Stormtrooper details. Citizen presented the release timing, prices, and quantities as plans at the time—not confirmation of present availability.
What is the Citizen Ana-Digi Temp?
The Ana-Digi Temp combines analog and digital time displays and includes a sensor function for measuring temperature. Citizen describes the design as a multifunction watch that first appeared in the 1980s. The 2021 Star Wars release brought that recognizable format to six character-themed editions.
Common listed functions included a chronograph, alarm, and calendar. Citizen gave the battery life as approximately two years and described the watch as water-resistant for everyday use.

Shared case and construction details
Citizen listed a stainless-steel case and band, with a case diameter of 32.5 mm and thickness of 8.0 mm. Those dimensions are design values stated in the 2021 announcement. The character treatments appear across the watch, and Citizen said the caseback carries the Star Wars logo and a character illustration.

The 2021 announcement does not establish current availability. Citizen’s U.S. Star Wars collection page is a separate regional lineup and includes designs such as Mandalorian, C-3PO Rewired, and Boba Fett. Its presence does not show that the six Japanese Ana-Digi Temp limited editions are still in stock.
