Credor’s 50th-anniversary Eichi II, reference GBLT996, is a 30-piece limited edition announced in April 2024 for availability from June that year. Its defining features are a deep-blue “ruri” porcelain dial with gold-overglaze decoration and an 18K yellow-gold case. Inside is the manual-winding Spring Drive Caliber 7R14.
What is the Credor 50th-anniversary Eichi II?
Credor introduced the GBLT996 to mark 50 years since the brand’s 1974 founding. Seiko Watch Corporation’s April 25, 2024 announcement described it as a special edition of the Eichi II and said it would be available from June 2024. The manufacturer limited production to 30 pieces.
The model sits within the Eichi II line, which Credor says succeeded the original Eichi in 2014. The original Eichi was created in 2008, according to the brand’s Eichi II information.
What distinguishes the GBLT996’s dial and case?
Ruri-blue porcelain and gold decoration
The dial is made of deep-blue porcelain, described by Credor as “ruri,” the Japanese word for lapis lazuli. The manufacturer says the dial’s curved form comes from the porcelain glaze, and its perceived color shifts with viewing angle and ambient brightness.

A craftsperson at Credor’s Micro Artist Studio hand-paints the hour markers, Credor logo at 12, and Credor lettering. Gold is applied over those elements after firing. Seiko connects this treatment to Ruri-Kinsai, a traditional technique of applying gold over ruri-colored material such as porcelain. This is the maker’s description of the craft and process, rather than an independently verified production account.
18K yellow gold
The case and clasp are 18K yellow gold, paired with a crocodile strap. The overall combination—blue porcelain, gold decoration, and yellow-gold case—is the clearest visual distinction from the other Eichi II references described in Credor’s official material.

Credor says the movement’s Torque Return System recycles energy that would otherwise go unused at high mainspring torque. Through the sapphire caseback, the brand highlights hand-finished bridges and a hand-tempered blue power-reserve indicator and screws.

Seiko gave an approximate European recommended retail price of €48,000 in its April 2024 announcement.
