Whether one is worth buying depends on the exact reference, its fit, complication, water resistance, price and availability. Czapek’s official pages support a useful comparison, but not independent conclusions about daily accuracy, comfort, reliability or resale value.
What is the Czapek Antarctique?
Czapek says the original 40.5 mm Antarctique launched in May 2020, followed by the 38.5 mm Antarctique S in 2022. Both core models debuted with the in-house Calibre SXH5. Since then, the range has included more specialized executions, including skeletonized watches and tourbillons. The brand describes the collection’s integrated bracelet as brushed, with polished C-shaped center links; that is the maker’s design description, not an independent assessment of comfort or finishing. Which Antarctique references are worth comparing?
These four examples show how substantially specifications and prices vary. Figures below are manufacturer-published, not independent test results. Prices and availability were checked against the cited official pages on October 7, 2026, except where a dated 2025 technical sheet is specified.
| Reference | Size and material | Movement and display | Water resistance | Production / delivery | Published price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Antarctique S La Carte des Nuages Misty White | 38.5 mm; steel | Automatic winding with micro-rotor; product page does not identify a calibre in the cited specifications | 50 m | Maximum 50 pieces per year; page states approximately 12 months to craft | CHF 26,000 excluding VAT |
| Antarctique S Titanium Révélation Cosmic Blue | 38.5 mm; titanium case and bracelet | Calibre SXH7; skeletonized display with small seconds at 4:30 | 120 m | 25 pieces per year | CHF 42,000 excluding VAT |
| Antarctique Tourbillon Cosmic Blue | 40.5 mm; product page reference | Tourbillon; see the product page for its full technical configuration | Not stated on the cited product page | Limited edition of 25; first deliveries were planned for May 2026 | CHF 67,000 excluding VAT |
| Antarctique Tourbillon Glacier Blue | 40.5 mm steel case; 11.5 mm height | Automatic Calibre 9 with flying tourbillon; 72-hour power reserve | 50 m | Not stated in the 2025 technical sheet | CHF 63,000 before taxes in the 2025 technical sheet; not necessarily a current offer |
For US pricing context, Czapek Americas’ collection page listed the S Titanium Révélation at $58,800 and several Antarctique Tourbillon models at $85,900 or $93,800 on October 7, 2026. Those are separate US listings; do not treat them as direct conversions of the Swiss-franc prices or as prices for interchangeable references. Confirm the current price, tax treatment and exact reference with the seller.

How do the 38.5 mm and 40.5 mm cases fit?
Czapek suggests the 38.5 mm case for wrist circumferences below 16.5 cm and the 40.5 mm version for wrists above 16.5 cm. The company also notes that watch proportions are subjective. Circumference is only a starting point: case shape, bracelet fit and personal preference affect how a watch wears, and no independent wrist comparison is available here.
What do the movements and complications offer?
Automatic time display
The collection’s original in-house automatic calibre is SXH5. The Misty White S page describes automatic winding and a micro-rotor, but the cited specifications do not establish the calibre for that particular reference. Verify the calibre attached to the exact watch being offered rather than assuming every Antarctique uses SXH5.

Skeletonized display
The 38.5 mm S Titanium Révélation Cosmic Blue uses Calibre SXH7 and places its small-seconds display at 4:30. Its openworked presentation and titanium construction distinguish it from the restrained steel S, while its stated 120 m water resistance is also specific to this reference.
Tourbillon
The tourbillon models are a substantial step up in complication and price. The 2025 Glacier Blue technical sheet specifies an automatic Calibre 9, flying tourbillon and 72-hour reserve. Do not transfer those technical details to the Cosmic Blue Tourbillon unless its own current specification sheet confirms them.

What do you get for the price?
On the published Swiss prices, the Misty White S is the least expensive of these cited examples at CHF 26,000 excluding VAT. The Titanium Révélation is CHF 42,000 excluding VAT and adds titanium, an SXH7 skeletonized movement, 120 m water resistance and a complimentary rubber strap according to its product page. The Cosmic Blue Tourbillon is CHF 67,000 excluding VAT, while the Glacier Blue Tourbillon’s CHF 63,000 figure belongs to a 2025 technical sheet and is before taxes. These figures are not a like-for-like value ranking: references, complications, dates and price bases differ.
For a buyer prioritizing a more restrained integrated-bracelet watch, the Misty White S is the straightforward entry among these examples. The Titanium Révélation suits a buyer specifically seeking an openworked display and titanium, while the tourbillons are for someone who values that complication enough to accept a much higher outlay. No independent market-value or resale analysis is established here, so price alone cannot support a claim that any reference is a bargain.

Bracelet, straps and ordering details
Czapek describes the integrated bracelet on the cited models as brushed, with polished C-shaped center links, micro-adjustment for a small extension and a quick-release system for changing straps. Product pages show strap choices, but the strap supplied with an order is reference- and offer-specific: the S Titanium Révélation page lists a complimentary rubber strap. Confirm whether the exact watch includes its bracelet, an additional strap, and any selected strap color before placing an order.
The Misty White page says the watch is made on demand, with an approximately 30% deposit to confirm an order and an approximately 12-month crafting period. The Cosmic Blue Tourbillon page also describes made-on-demand ordering and planned its first deliveries for May 2026. Since that stated delivery date has passed, it does not establish current stock or a present wait time; ask Czapek or the official retailer for a current estimate.

Warranty and purchase checks
Czapek says watches sold directly or through official retail partners carry a three-year international product warranty. Before buying, confirm the seller’s official status, the warranty documentation and terms for the exact watch, and the local route for after-sales service. The brand directs product owners to contact it for after-sales inquiries.
- Match the reference name and calibre on the offer to the official product page.
- Confirm case material, dimensions and water-resistance rating for that reference.
- Get the current price in the selling market and clarify whether taxes are included.
- Ask whether the watch is in stock, made to order, or subject to a current production lead time.
- Confirm bracelet and strap contents, warranty paperwork and service arrangements in writing.
Is the Czapek Antarctique worth buying?
It can be a compelling purchase if the specific reference fits your wrist and priorities: the range offers two case sizes, steel or titanium examples, automatic and skeletonized displays, and tourbillon complications. The Misty White S is the more restrained and lower-priced of the cited models; the Titanium Révélation trades up to titanium and skeletonization; the tourbillons are far more expensive complications. Decide on a reference first, then assess that watch’s exact specifications, price and availability. The available evidence is manufacturer material, not hands-on testing, so it cannot establish how accurately a particular watch keeps time, how it feels in daily wear, or how it will perform on the secondary market.
