DM01: automatic sports-watch character
The DM01’s integrated steel bracelet gives it a more casual, sporty look than the DM02. Dumoreau specifies a 316L steel case and bracelet, sapphire crystal, screw-down crown, 100 m water resistance and Miyota 9039 automatic movement with a 42-hour power reserve. What movement is in the Dumoreau DM02?
The DM02 MK2 uses the Sellita SW 210-1, a hand-wound mechanical movement. Unlike the automatic Miyota 9039 in the DM01, it requires winding by hand. Dumoreau lists a 42-hour power reserve, 28,800 vph and an adjustment of plus or minus seven seconds per day. Those are the manufacturer’s stated specifications; they should not be read as an independent timing test of every watch.

Is the Dumoreau DM02 MK2 worth it?
At its listed price of $1,250 on the official page checked October 7, 2026, the DM02 MK2 offers a Swiss-made hand-wound movement, sapphire crystals on both sides, 100 m water resistance and a notably slim 9.5 mm case. Its dial finishing details and restrained dimensions suit someone specifically looking for a mechanical dress watch rather than an automatic sports watch. The price and specifications alone cannot establish how it compares in finish, comfort or long-term performance with alternatives; those require direct, model-to-model examination.
Deployant reported a $1,250 retail price in its March 2023 review, when it had a loan sample for two weeks. That is useful historical context, but the live brand page is the relevant source for the currently displayed price and stock status.
