In the EON-produced Bond films, OMEGA’s on-screen era begins with GoldenEye (1995) and runs through No Time to Die (2021). The documented screen watches span several Seamaster families as well as the Planet Ocean and Aqua Terra; there is no single model worn in every film. The timeline below follows identifications published by Watchfinder in 2025 and cross-checked against the James Bond Watches index. Treat the references as documented identifications, not a definitive official prop ledger.

Every identified OMEGA watch, film by film

This timeline covers identified OMEGA watches worn on screen in EON films from 1995 to 2021. It does not include watches from earlier Bond films, which featured other brands, or later commemorative and inspired models that were not worn in the films listed here.

Film Identified OMEGA watch On-screen notes
GoldenEye (1995) Seamaster Diver Professional 300M Quartz, ref. 2541.80.00 The first OMEGA identified on Bond’s wrist. Its helium-valve laser is a fictional gadget, not a real watch function.
Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) Seamaster Professional 300M, ref. 2531.80.00 An automatic chronometer in the same blue-wave visual family.
The World Is Not Enough (1999) Seamaster Professional 300M, ref. 2531.80.00 The documented identification uses the same reference as Tomorrow Never Dies.
Die Another Day (2002) Seamaster Professional 300M, ref. 2531.80.00 The film’s watch gadgets are fictional.
Casino Royale (2006) Seamaster Professional 300M Co-Axial, ref. 2220.80.00; Seamaster Planet Ocean, ref. 2900.50.91 Two models are identified. Watchfinder describes the Planet Ocean as 45.5 mm and fitted with a black rubber strap.
Quantum of Solace (2008) Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M, ref. 2201.50.00 Watchfinder identifies a 42 mm steel model with a black dial and bezel.
Skyfall (2012) Planet Ocean 600M, ref. 232.30.42.21.01.001; Aqua Terra 150M, ref. 231.10.39.21.03.001 Two references are identified by Watchfinder. The James Bond Watches index marks the film’s watches as under investigation, so this should not be read as a complete, settled prop list.
Spectre (2015) Aqua Terra, ref. 231.10.42.21.03.003; Seamaster 300, ref. 233.32.41.21.01.001 Watchfinder also notes a possibly vintage OMEGA chronograph in the final scene but says its exact model was not officially confirmed. Watchfinder states that the commercial Seamaster 300 edition associated with the film was limited to 7,007 pieces; that figure describes the edition, not a separate screen-worn prop inventory.
No Time to Die (2021) Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition, ref. 210.90.42.20.01.001 Daniel Craig had design input on the lightweight titanium watch. The official launch described titanium mesh and striped NATO strap options.

Sources for the identifications and model details: Watchfinder’s 2025 film-by-film feature and the James Bond Watches chronological index. OMEGA’s Bond history page identifies GoldenEye as the brand’s first appearance on Bond’s wrist.

Why there is no single “Bond OMEGA”

The screen history moves among different watches rather than keeping Bond in one unchanged reference. The identified watches include Seamaster Professional and Diver 300M models, two Planet Ocean references, Aqua Terra models, and a Seamaster 300. Some films have more than one identified OMEGA, while Tomorrow Never Dies, The World Is Not Enough, and Die Another Day are each associated with the same 2531.80.00 reference in the cited timeline.

The films also separate real watches from fictional spy equipment. A screen gadget does not make its function part of the retail model’s specification: the laser and other movie devices should be understood as fiction, not capabilities of a commercially available OMEGA.

Screen-worn models, commemorative editions and later designs

A watch inspired by a Bond film is not automatically a watch that appeared in it. The Seamaster Diver 300M 007 Edition identified in No Time to Die is the screen reference here. OMEGA’s November 2024 announcement describes a new Diver 300M range as taking inspiration from that 007 Edition; those 2024 models are a later design relationship, not additional watches worn in the 2021 film. See OMEGA’s 2024 collection announcement and the official 007 announcement of the No Time to Die watch.

Likewise, the limited commercial Seamaster 300 edition associated with Spectre should not be conflated with the film’s screen-worn watch or its fictional grenade function. When researching a particular reference, distinguish the prop identification from a later 007-branded release or an inspired collection.

What to check when looking for a specific reference

  • Match the reference, not just the film name. Several Bond-era watches share collection names, and a later edition may look similar without being the identified screen model.
  • Check current status and condition. Availability and collector-market listings change; many older references may be discontinued or offered pre-owned. Verify the exact reference and the seller’s description before buying.
  • Separate screen accuracy from daily wear. The model that matches a film scene may not be the easiest option to find or the one that best suits your preferred size, strap, or condition.
  • Check strap compatibility before choosing a Bond-inspired NATO. Lug width and attachment must match the individual watch; a striped NATO is not automatically compatible with every Seamaster.

For context on the partnership, OMEGA’s official Bond history places its start at GoldenEye. In OMEGA’s 60 Years Of James Bond story, Daniel Craig describes working with OMEGA in the films since Casino Royale.
