Calibre 1509 is the manually wound movement specified for the Vagabondage II. F.P. Journe lists it as an 18K rose-gold movement with 31 jewels. Its stated dimensions are 29.3 × 28.2 mm, with a height of 5.30 mm.
- Autonomy: 28 ± 2 hours, as specified by the maker.
- Frequency: 21,600 alternations per hour, or 3 Hz, as specified by the maker.

Case, dial and material variations
The case is described as a Flat Tortue and measures 45.2 × 37.5 mm, with an overall height of 8.00 mm. The official page also rounds the dimensions to 45 × 37.5 mm in its technical section; 45.2 × 37.5 mm is the more specific listing. The dial is smoked sapphire.

How many Vagabondage II watches were made?
F.P. Journe records standard runs of 69 platinum watches and 68 watches in 18K 6N gold. The maker says the model was produced from 2010 to 2011. Separately, it lists 10 platinum examples set with baguette diamonds, produced on request from 2011 to 2018. The GPHG model record also describes the second chapter as a 69-piece platinum and 68-piece red-gold series.
F.P. Journe’s official page says: “This series was sold without promotion or publicity of any kind, and without any picture.” That is brand copy, not a quotation attributed to a named individual.

What can—and cannot—be said about the wearing experience?
The documentary sources establish the display architecture, movement specifications, case dimensions and materials. They do not establish wrist fit, how clearly the apertures read at different angles or in different lighting, the feel of winding and setting, or how the jumping indications look in operation. Those require inspection of an actual watch; they should not be inferred from the specification sheet.
