Fratello’s January 2026 picks range from a black-and-white Omega Moonwatch to a pietersite-dial Atelier Wen, a Louis Vuitton minute repeater, a sculptural titanium-and-gold Toledano & Chan, and a limited platinum Tiffany chronograph. The five are Jorg Weppelink’s editorial highlights, presented in Fratello’s order—not a complete release list or a scored ranking.

Fratello published the roundup on February 6, 2026, as the first entry in a planned monthly series of favorite releases. Here is what distinguishes each watch and what the published details do—and do not—establish about price and availability.

Fratello’s five January 2026 picks

1. Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch “Reverse Panda”

The “Reverse Panda” nickname describes the contrast of a glossy black dial and white sub-dials. Fratello’s selection includes stainless-steel and Moonshine Gold versions, with a black ceramic tachymeter bezel and white-enamel Dot Over Ninety. The familiar Moonwatch case measures 42 mm.

For the stainless-steel model, Fratello reports a hand-wound Calibre 3861, a 50-hour power reserve and a €10,200 price at the time of publication. Omega’s official page confirms that reference 310.30.42.50.01.004 has a 42 mm stainless-steel case, black lacquered dial, white lacquered sub-dials, ceramic bezel and Calibre 3861: Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional, reference 310.30.42.50.01.004. The article-time price is not confirmation of today’s price or stock.

2. Atelier Wen Millésime Perception Xuán

The Xuán’s defining feature is its natural pietersite dial. Because pietersite is a stone, its patterns vary from watch to watch; Fratello says the material is mined in China. The case is 40 mm 904L steel, 9.4 mm thick and 47 mm from lug to lug, with a double-domed sapphire crystal. Inside is an automatic Dandong SL1588A movement with a stated 41-hour power reserve.

Fratello listed the watch at a preorder price of €3,100 excluding taxes. That is a historical article-time figure, not a current offer. Atelier Wen’s official page identifies the model as the Perception Xuán: Atelier Wen Millésime Perception Xuán.

3. Louis Vuitton Escale Minute Repeater

Louis Vuitton’s entry pairs two unusual functions: a jump-hour display and a minute repeater, which chimes the time on demand. The rose-gold case measures 40 mm across and 12.3 mm thick. Fratello also calls out the traditional guilloché and retrograde minute track.

According to Fratello, the 432-part caliber was developed by Michel Navas and Enrico Barbasini at La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton, and assembling and finishing one watch takes more than four weeks. The official product page describes a manual-winding, 40 mm rose-gold Escale Minute Repeater: Louis Vuitton Escale Minute Repeater.

4. Toledano & Chan B/1.3r

The B/1.3r combines a titanium case and bracelet with an 18K yellow-gold ripple dial. Its asymmetrical, destro-style case and faceted sapphire crystal give it a markedly different look from the round, conventional dress watches elsewhere on the list. Fratello reports an automatic Sellita SW100 movement with a 42-hour power reserve.

Fratello writer Jorg Weppelink said he wore the watch for a week and found it comfortable. The roundup gave a US$10,200 price at publication; it does not establish a current price or availability.

5. Tiffany & Co. Tiffany Timer

The Tiffany Timer is a 40 mm platinum chronograph with a Tiffany Blue lacquer dial, 12 baguette-diamond hour markers, and white-gold crown and hands. Its bespoke Zenith El Primero caliber 400 has a stated 50-hour power reserve. Fratello reports that creating the dial takes 50 hours and that production is limited to 60 watches.

Fratello also said the watches were likely sold out by the time of its article. That is an availability assessment in the February 2026 roundup, not a verified live-stock update; no current Tiffany inventory is established here.

How the five watches differ

Watch Case and standout design Movement or function Price and availability in Fratello’s roundup
Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch “Reverse Panda” 42 mm; stainless steel or Moonshine Gold; black dial with white sub-dials Hand-wound Calibre 3861; 50-hour reserve €10,200 for the stainless-steel version at publication; current price and stock not established
Atelier Wen Millésime Perception Xuán 40 mm 904L steel; natural pietersite dial with individual variation Automatic Dandong SL1588A; 41-hour reserve €3,100 excluding taxes as an article-time preorder price; current preorder status and price not established
Louis Vuitton Escale Minute Repeater 40 × 12.3 mm rose gold; guilloché dial and retrograde minute track Manual winding; jump hour and minute repeater Price and availability not stated in the roundup
Toledano & Chan B/1.3r Titanium case and bracelet; 18K yellow-gold ripple dial Automatic Sellita SW100; 42-hour reserve US$10,200 at publication; current price and stock not established
Tiffany & Co. Tiffany Timer 40 mm platinum; Tiffany Blue dial with 12 baguette-diamond markers Bespoke Zenith El Primero caliber 400 chronograph; 50-hour reserve Run of 60 reported by Fratello; the roundup said likely sold out, not verified live stock

For a traditional sports chronograph, the Omega is the familiar choice, while the Tiffany Timer also takes the chronograph route in a rarer platinum-and-diamond execution. The Atelier Wen’s stone dial makes each example visually distinct. Louis Vuitton stands apart for its chiming and jump-hour functions; Toledano & Chan makes its case and dial geometry the visual focus.

What “top five” means here

Fratello’s list is a set of editorial favorites, not an exhaustive record of every watch released in January 2026 and not a numbered scorecard of technical merit or value. The order above follows Jorg Weppelink’s roundup. Its listed prices and availability reflect the article’s February 6, 2026 publication context, so they should not be treated as current purchasing information.

Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
