The reported maximum discount is on the 51 mm Garmin epix Pro (Gen 2) Sapphire Edition: PhoneArena reported it at about $600, down from $1,100, in a US Amazon deal article dated October 5, 2026. The 47 mm version was reported at just under $530, down from $1,000. Those are reported offers, not confirmed live checkout prices, so verify the exact listing before buying.

What the reported deal saves on each size

PhoneArena’s October 5, 2026 report puts the larger 51 mm watch at about $600 and the 47 mm model at just under $530. The headline’s “up to $501 off” applies only to the 51 mm version; the reported 47 mm saving is $470.

Version Reported US Amazon price Reported saving Reported smartwatch-mode battery
47 mm Sapphire Edition Just under $530, from $1,000 (PhoneArena, October 5, 2026) $470, or 47% (PhoneArena, October 5, 2026) Up to 16 days (Garmin Türkiye product page; accessed 2026)
51 mm Sapphire Edition About $600, from $1,100 (PhoneArena, October 5, 2026) $501, or 46% (PhoneArena, October 5, 2026) Up to 31 days (PhoneArena, October 5, 2026)

PhoneArena’s figures describe offers reported at that time, not a guarantee that either price remains available. Check the live listing for the price, seller, case size, color, and condition. Garmin’s regional product page for the 47 mm model currently says unavailable in Türkiye; that does not establish US inventory or availability elsewhere.

Which case size makes more sense?

Choose 47 mm for a smaller case and lower reported price

The 47 mm version is the smaller of the two options and had the lower reported deal price. Garmin lists up to 16 days in smartwatch mode and up to 30 hours in GPS mode for this Sapphire configuration. Those are manufacturer maximums, not a promise of typical runtime; settings and use can affect battery life.

Choose 51 mm if you want the larger watch and longer stated smartwatch runtime

The 51 mm model is the one associated with the maximum reported $501 saving. PhoneArena says it offers up to 31 days in smartwatch mode. Compare the price currently shown for the exact size with how the larger case will fit and feel on your wrist; the biggest dollar discount alone does not make it the better fit.

What the Sapphire Edition offers

Garmin’s 47 mm Sapphire product listing describes an AMOLED display protected by a scratch-resistant Sapphire lens, a built-in LED flashlight, SatIQ and multi-band GPS, training and recovery features, and health tracking. These features help explain the watch’s appeal to people who want navigation and training tools alongside smartwatch functions.
