Garmin software version 15.05 updates Breathing Variations and Device Passcode and fixes several issues on the Venu 3, Venu 3S and vívoactive 5. Garmin’s release posts list the rollout as 100% complete; owners can check for it on the watch under Menu > Settings > System > Software Update.
Which watches get software version 15.05?
Garmin lists version 15.05 for the Venu 3 series and the vívoactive 5. For the Venu line, that means the Venu 3 and Venu 3S; the vívoactive 5 has its own release post.
Garmin’s release notes differ slightly in one detail: the Venu 3 series post lists GCM Translations 2.28, while the vívoactive 5 post lists GCM Translations 2.27. The posts do not explain the translation-package change.
What changes in version 15.05?
Garmin lists two feature updates and five fixes. It does not describe what behavior changed in Breathing Variations or Device Passcode, so the release notes do not establish what owners should expect those updates to do.
