Who is the CEO of Jaeger-LeCoultre?
Jérôme Lambert returned to Jaeger-LeCoultre as Maison Chief Executive Officer on 1 January 2025. The Maison announced the appointment on 29 November 2024. Richemont’s appointment announcement describes it as a return: Lambert had previously led Jaeger-LeCoultre and also served as Richemont Group CEO and Group COO.
In the announcement, Lambert called the appointment “both a privilege and a homecoming to the craft and heritage that have shaped my career.” His earlier experience at the Maison distinguishes this appointment from a first-time outside hire.
Who is the CEO of Vacheron Constantin?
Laurent Perves became Vacheron Constantin’s Maison CEO on 1 January 2025, succeeding Louis Ferla. The appointment was announced on 29 November 2024. Richemont’s announcement traces Perves’s progression within the Maison: he joined in 2016 as chief marketing officer and became chief commercial officer in 2021. The notice does not provide a comparable first-person quote from Perves.

How the two Richemont appointments compare
| Maison | CEO from 1 January 2025 | Pre-appointment path |
|---|---|---|
| Jaeger-LeCoultre | Jérôme Lambert | Returned to a Maison he had previously led; also served as Richemont Group CEO and Group COO. |
| Vacheron Constantin | Laurent Perves | Internal progression: joined as chief marketing officer in 2016 and became chief commercial officer in 2021. |
The appointments were announced on the same day and took effect on the same day. Richemont classifies both Maisons in its Specialist Watchmakers portfolio. The official notices support a paired leadership story, but do not say that one appointment caused or influenced the other, or announce a shared strategy.

Richemont’s FY26 annual report, published on 29 May 2026 and covering the year ended 31 March 2026, lists Lambert and Perves as the respective Maison CEOs. That confirms the roles as reported for that period; it does not establish whether either role changed after the report’s publication.
Rank #2
The report also describes Jaeger-LeCoultre’s watchmaking record as “over 1,400 calibres” and “more than 430 patents.” These are Maison figures reported by Richemont in 2026, not measures of either executive’s performance. Richemont FY26 annual report names Reverso models among Jaeger-LeCoultre’s products, but product context does not change the focus of these appointments: leadership continuity and succession at two watch Maisons.
