MING lists 100 m water resistance and approximately 50 hours of power reserve; the brand says its testing reached 260 m. Its current product page says the watch is sold out and offers a waitlist, so the CHF 3,500 price reported at launch in April 2025 is historical, not a current quote.
What the MING 37.02 Ghost is
The 37.02 Ghost is a compact, hours-and-minutes-only automatic. MING frames its design around architecture and a deliberate absence of polished surfaces: the Grade 2 titanium case, two-part dial and buckle are brushed. The result, as described by the maker, is a monochrome watch whose visual interest comes from the way its surfaces are finished rather than from contrasting colors or complications.
The specifications and design details below are MING’s own product information. The separate wearing impressions are attributed to Fratello’s Michael Stockton, who wrote about the watch in April 2025; they are not findings from an independent test for this article.
Case, dial and dimensions
MING gives the case diameter as 38 mm, thickness as 11 mm and lug-to-lug length as 44.5 mm. It lists a 35 g head weight, excluding the strap, and a 20 mm lug width. Those figures describe a short, relatively light watch by its published measurements, though dimensions alone cannot establish how it will fit an individual wrist.

The two-part titanium dial pairs radial and circular brushing. MING specifies domed sapphire crystals on both the front and rear, each with double-sided antireflective coating and liquid Super-LumiNova fill. The hands use Super-LumiNova X1. These luminous details add function without changing the watch’s time-only display.
Movement and water resistance
The movement is a self-winding Sellita for MING SW300.M1, with a customized rotor and anthracite skeletonized bridges. MING states approximately 50 hours of power reserve at full wind.

MING’s listing presents water resistance as “100 m (260 m).” The listed rating is 100 m. The brand says the case exceeded its initial 100 m target by 2.6 times in testing, and describes the retained 100 m caseback marking as an inside joke. The 260 m figure is therefore a maker-reported test result, not a replacement for the stated 100 m rating.
Strap and wearing impressions
The supplied strap is grey goat leather, 20 mm wide, with a brushed Grade 2 titanium tuck buckle. A 20 mm replacement strap is a reasonable size to investigate, but the lug-width measurement by itself does not confirm that another strap will work with the Ghost’s attachment arrangement or original buckle; check compatibility for the specific strap before buying.

In his April 18, 2025 Fratello article, Michael Stockton reported seeing the Ghost at Time to Watches in Geneva and taking it from Geneva to Florida during a vacation. He described the 38 mm by 44.5 mm watch as wearable and discussed its brushed titanium case and dial, movement and strap. These are his reported impressions and context, rather than standardized fit or performance testing.
Edition, warranty and current availability
MING identifies the edition as 250 watches and lists a two-year warranty against defects. The edition size is the maker’s stated figure, not an independently verified production tally.

As of the MING product page accessed October 5, 2026, the 37.02 Ghost is marked sold out and the page offers a waitlist. Fratello reported CHF 3,500 and immediate availability in its April 18, 2025 launch-era article. That price and availability describe the situation at publication, not a current offer.
