The Nezumi Corbeau CQ4.702 is a compact, black-DLC-accented chronograph with a Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz movement, a 12-hour bezel and a distinctive blue-and-yellow 60-minute counter. Its 40 mm case and 47 mm lug-to-lug measurement give it manageable listed dimensions, but its 5 ATM water-resistance rating is for everyday splashes—not swimming or diving.
What is the Nezumi Corbeau CQ4.702?
Nezumi presents the Corbeau as its interpretation of a classic mil-spec-themed chronograph; “Corbeau” is French for crow. The CQ4.702 is the black-DLC-accented version, assembled in Germany according to the official product page. The Corbeau line was designed by Nezumi founder David Campo and has existed since 2016, according to Fratello’s July 28, 2025 hands-on review.
The brushed 316L stainless-steel case is paired with black-DLC-coated bezel, pushers, crown and caseback. The black dial has three registers; the 60-minute counter at 9 o’clock carries the vivid blue-and-yellow accent, while the other registers blend more quietly into the dial. Fratello’s Jorg Weppelink compares the styling visually with Heuer Bund and vintage Sinn 155 chronographs. That is a design reference, not a claim that the Corbeau reproduces or is historically equivalent to either watch.
How the movement and controls work
The watch uses a Seiko VK63 mecha-quartz movement. Nezumi says its mechanical chronograph module gives the central chronograph seconds hand a sweeping motion, tactile-feeling pusher action and an instant snap-back reset. Timekeeping functions include central hours and minutes, small seconds, a 24-hour indicator, a 60-minute chronograph register and central chronograph seconds.

Fratello reports accuracy within ±20 seconds per month and battery life of about three years. Those are figures reported by the reviewer in 2025, not values independently confirmed here against a Seiko technical sheet.
A 120-click unidirectional bezel has a 12-hour scale. Nezumi says it can track elapsed hours or help follow a second time zone. In his couple of days wearing the watch, Weppelink found the chronograph clicks firm, the crown action reassuring and the bezel clicks crisp; those are his observations rather than instrumented tests.

These specifications are listed by Nezumi. The 47 mm lug-to-lug measurement is useful alongside the 40 mm diameter when assessing fit, while the 12.75 mm thickness includes the domed crystal.
What does 5 ATM water resistance allow?
Do not read the 50 m figure as a recommendation to swim with the CQ4.702. Nezumi describes the rating as suitable for everyday exposure such as rain, handwashing and light splashes, and says the watch is not intended for swimming, showering, diving or submersion. The maker also advises against operating the pushers, crown or bezel while the watch is wet or submerged. Follow that practical guidance rather than treating the depth-equivalent figure as a use rating.

How does the CQ4.702 compare with the CQ4.202?
Fratello characterizes the CQ4.702 as the black-DLC version with blue-and-yellow dial color, while the CQ4.202 is the stainless-steel reverse-panda option with off-white subdials. The main distinction is therefore visual: a darker, more colorful accent treatment on the CQ4.702 versus a brighter steel case and contrasting pale subdials on the CQ4.202.
The review describes three strap or bracelet configurations. Its prices are historical figures from publication in July 2025, not current quotes.

Both the historical prices and configuration descriptions come from Fratello’s July 2025 review. Check Nezumi’s live listing for present pricing and availability. With the listed 20 mm lug width, alternate straps may be worth considering, but confirm attachment type and strap length before buying one.
Buying and ownership details to check
When the official product page was observed in 2026, it advertised free shipping and a two-year warranty, and said worldwide FedEx Priority shipping typically takes 3–5 business days depending on destination and customs. Nezumi also notes that customs charges may apply outside the EU and that US orders may incur duties or tariffs. These terms, along with price and stock, can change; confirm the current details on the product page before ordering.
