The Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi appears to have been discontinued, but Rolex has not made a direct public announcement confirming it. WatchPro reported on March 2, 2026, that Rolex told authorized dealers it would make no further deliveries of the steel Pepsi and that customers on waiting lists were being asked to consider other models. That is trade reporting about dealer communications—not a Rolex press release.
What “discontinued” means in this case
The report concerns the steel GMT-Master II reference 126710BLRO and the end of new deliveries to authorized dealers. It does not mean existing watches have vanished, and it does not establish whether a particular retailer has any stock left. WatchPro also described customers being redirected from waitlists, but that should not be treated as a guarantee about every dealer or location. WatchPro’s March 2, 2026 report is the strongest evidence for the reported discontinuation.
Rolex’s reviewed official pages do not contain a direct public notice that the Pepsi reference has been discontinued. Its model-family overview and U.S. site continue to show the GMT-Master II collection, but that does not establish that the Pepsi remains in production or available to order. Rolex’s GMT-Master II overview provides family context, not confirmation about the 126710BLRO’s status.
Which watch is the Pepsi?
“Pepsi” is the nickname for the red-and-blue bezel colorway. The steel watch at issue is reference 126710BLRO. Rolex’s brochure identifies it as a 40 mm Oystersteel GMT-Master II with a two-colour red-and-blue Cerachrom bezel. It lists calibre 3285, a GMT function and water resistance of 100 metres (330 feet). Those details identify the reference; they do not establish whether it is still being made. Is the GMT-Master II range discontinued?
No: the reported discontinuation is specific to the steel Pepsi reference, not the GMT-Master II family as a whole. Rolex’s U.S. website lists a different steel variant, reference 126710BLNR, with a blue-and-black bezel. Its official page describes that variant’s independent rapid-setting local hour hand; those details are specific to the BLNR, not evidence about the Pepsi’s availability. Rolex’s U.S. page for the 126710BLNR.
Can you still buy a Pepsi at retail?
The available evidence does not establish current new-retail availability or remaining stock at any particular authorized dealer. Rolex says official Rolex jewelers are the only authorized sellers and service providers. Contact an official jeweler directly to ask about a specific reference and local availability; a family or variant page on Rolex’s website is not proof that a particular watch can be ordered.
