The Helicon Master Blue Hour is a 38.5 mm automatic watch with a blue-and-orange hand-finished dial, a ceramic bezel insert and 200 m stated water resistance. Helicon Watches launched it in 2023 and says only 50 will ever be made. The giveaway in the title cannot be confirmed as open: the only winner-related item we could find is a news-index entry dated February 27, 2025, and no current official contest page turned up.
What the Helicon Master Blue Hour is
Helicon Watches sells this model as the Master Blue Hour. Time+Tide’s coverage calls it the Helicon 62 Master Blue Hour. It is a blue-and-orange dial variant in Helicon’s Master line. Time+Tide covered it on July 31, 2023, and Helicon’s own launch post is dated August 4, 2023, so the watch is best described as a summer 2023 release.
The name refers to the short twilight window after the sun has dropped below the horizon while orange light still lingers. Helicon says the dial took months to develop and that it worked with an artist and a ceramic specialist. It also describes this as the brand’s first blue ceramic bezel insert.
The dial is hand-finished, so the ombré fade is not identical from one watch to the next. Photos of one example are a guide to the colour gradient, not a guarantee for another.

There will only ever be 50 pieces made and this fact makes our Helicon Master Blue Hour a truly collectable example of the watchmaker’s skill.
The 50-piece figure is a manufacturer claim. We found no independent count of how many were produced or sold.

Is the giveaway still open?
The title alone does not establish an active contest. We could not locate the original aBlogtoWatch giveaway page or its terms. As a result, the opening date, closing date, eligibility rules and entry method are not confirmed here, and we do not publish entry steps for a contest we cannot verify.
The only winner-related item we found is a news-index entry dated February 27, 2025, titled “aBlogtoWatch Helicon Master Blue Hour Watch Giveaway Winner Announced.” Its snippet names a winner by first name, last initial and a US town. Treat that as a secondary lead. It is not the contest’s rulebook, and we did not find a publicly accessible confirmation from the contest host.

If you see a giveaway offer for this watch, verify it before entering:
- Open the host site’s own contest page, not a repost or aggregator, and confirm the closing date printed there.
- Look for written eligibility rules, including country and minimum age.
- Confirm that any winner announcement comes from the host itself.
- Avoid any entry page that asks you to pay a fee to enter.
Buying and comparing the watch today
Because the run is capped at 50 and the release is from 2023, check Helicon directly for stock. We did not establish which retailers, if any, currently list this exact limited edition.
Helicon’s site lists performance, skin-diver and bracelet straps, but we did not verify fit for each model. With a 20 mm lug width, confirm the strap’s lug width and length against a current product page before you buy.
