How large is it, and what does that mean in practice?
At a reported 47 mm diameter and 19.40 mm thickness, the Turning Bezel is a substantial watch on paper. Those numbers can help you judge whether its proportions suit your wrist and how it might fit under a cuff, but they cannot establish how it feels to wear. No physical example was examined for fit, comfort, weight, or finishing.
The 24 mm lug distance is useful if you are considering a replacement strap. Confirm the actual watch’s lug width and check that the strap’s buckle and hardware dimensions work with it before ordering; the reported lug measurement alone does not guarantee compatibility with every strap.

Which Gauge models should not be confused with it?

Does the 2,000 m rating mean a used example is safe to dive with?
No. The 2,000 m figure is a rating reported by OceanicTime in 2012, not evidence of an independent test in this review or of a particular watch’s present condition. Age, service history, seals, crown components, crystal, and prior damage can all affect whether an individual used watch is water-resistant. Do not rely on an old rating as proof that a watch remains pressure-tight.

Before buying, ask for documentation of a recent pressure test if you intend to take the watch underwater. A seller’s description or a working-looking crown is not a substitute for that test.

Current stock, asking prices, resale values, and the availability of a specific listing have not been established here. Helson’s official site positions its watches as designed for professional underwater use as well as an active lifestyle. That is the company’s own positioning, not independent proof of this Gauge’s capabilities. For a buyer, the specific watch’s identity, service record, and current pressure-test status matter more than a historical depth-rating claim.
