The Huawei Watch Fit 3 can be a budget-friendly alternative to Apple Watch Ultra 3 if you want a lightweight fitness watch for everyday activity tracking and longer stretches between charges. It is not a like-for-like replacement: Ultra 3 adds cellular, advanced outdoor and safety features, ECG, and recreational scuba support. Check local prices before comparing value; Huawei’s regional price was not established here.
Where the Watch Fit 3 fits
Huawei’s Watch Fit 3 is a slim, fitness-focused smartwatch rather than an Ultra-class outdoor tool. It is worth considering if your priorities are an easy-to-wear design, routine workouts, and battery life. If you need the Ultra’s cellular connection, diving capability, or broader safety and navigation features, the Fit 3 is a narrower substitute.
Huawei lists the Fit 3 at 43.2 × 36.3 × 9.9 mm and approximately 26 g without its strap. Its 1.82-inch AMOLED display has a 480 × 408-pixel resolution. These are manufacturer specifications, not measurements from a comparative test. Huawei Watch Fit 3 specifications
Compatibility and phone integration
Huawei lists Android 8.0 or later and iOS 13.0 or later as compatible with the Fit 3. Apple specifies iPhone 11 or later running iOS 26 or later for Ultra 3. Compatibility does not guarantee identical features across phones: check Huawei’s app availability and feature support in your region, along with your phone’s software version, before buying. Battery life: compare estimates, not a head-to-head test
Huawei estimates up to 10 days for the Fit 3 in its maximum-battery test, and up to 7 days in a more intensive stated-use scenario. The manufacturer’s conditions include functions such as Bluetooth calls and music, sleep and health monitoring, GPS exercise, notifications, and screen activity; the assumptions vary between the two estimates. Apple rates Ultra 3 for up to 42 hours of normal use or up to 72 hours in Low Power Mode. These figures come from each maker’s own estimate and test conditions, so they are not a controlled comparison or a guarantee of what you will get. Fitness tracking, GPS, and outdoor capability
The Fit 3 is the more basic choice for everyday fitness tracking. Wareable reports that, in its review, it compared Fit 3 running-distance results with an Apple Watch Ultra 2 and Garmin Fenix 7S and found no distance issues in its use. That is a reviewer’s reported experience, not a controlled lab result or proof of accuracy across users, activities, or conditions—and the Apple comparison was with Ultra 2, not Ultra 3. - ACCURATE GPS TRACKING & NAVIGATION: Stay on course with free downloadable maps and turn-by-turn directions. Support from 5 satellite systems ensures precise tracking of every move and fast GPS connection.
- 24/7 HEALTH MONITORING: The Amazfit Bip 6 smartwatch provides precise, real-time monitoring of heart rate, sleep, blood-oxygen and stress, empowering you with actionable insights to optimize your health and fitness.
Apple lists dual-frequency GPS, cellular connectivity, ECG, and multiple outdoor and safety features for Ultra 3. Those capabilities make it the more suitable option if your activities depend on advanced navigation, communication away from your phone, or the Ultra’s health and safety tools. The Fit 3 should not be treated as feature-equivalent simply because it can track workouts.
Water resistance is not the same as dive capability
Huawei rates the Watch Fit 3 at 5 ATM. Apple lists Ultra 3 as water resistant to 100 m and suitable for recreational scuba diving to 40 m. These are different specifications and intended-use claims; a 5 ATM rating does not make the Fit 3 a dive watch. If diving is part of your use, consult the manufacturer’s water-use guidance and choose a device explicitly rated for that activity. Price and value depend on your market
Apple announced a U.S. starting price of $799 for Ultra 3 in September 2025; that was its launch price, not a current sale price. A current Watch Fit 3 price was not verified, so there is no reliable basis here for claiming a particular discount or price ratio. Compare current listings in your country, including availability and any regional differences, then weigh the price against the features you will actually use.
