The 2015 steel and King Gold editions shared the HUB 1242 Unico movement and 45.5 mm case, but differed in finish, strap hardware, production numbers and historical launch price. A separate, later All Black version should not be confused with either.
What distinguishes the World Poker Tour editions?
The defining detail is the bezel: spade, club, heart and diamond motifs mark its cardinal points. On the 2015 models, that graphic framing surrounds a skeleton dial that exposes parts of the chronograph mechanism. WatchTime’s January 3, 2015 report describes a case with polished and microblasted surfaces, six H-shaped titanium screws and nonreflective sapphire crystals on both the front and back. The front crystal carries the Hublot name and logo; the caseback displays the WPT logo. WatchTime’s 2015 model report.
Red Super-LumiNova on the hands, numerals and hour markers gives the dial a strong accent. The steel model uses rhodium-plated counter rings, numeral outlines and hands; the King Gold version uses rose-gold plating for those elements. These are visual and specification details from published product coverage, not a firsthand wear or chronograph test.

Case sizes, quantities, prices and strap configurations in the table are from WatchTime’s January 2015 report; the prices are historical launch prices, not current retail or resale values. The report describes the straps as alligator leather stitched to a rubber underside, attached with Hublot’s one-click system.

What movement and displays does it use?
Both 2015 versions are reported with the HUB 1242 Unico automatic flyback chronograph. WatchTime lists a four-hertz frequency, column wheel, double clutch, 38 jewels, 330 components and a 72-hour power reserve. The column wheel and double clutch are visible through the skeleton dial. These specifications refer to the WPT editions, not every Big Bang Unico model.
- At 9 o’clock: small-seconds display.
- At 3 o’clock: chronograph minutes counter, with a date aperture beside it.
- On the dial: exposed movement components and red luminous hands, markers and numerals.
WatchTime also reports 100 m water resistance for the 2015 steel and King Gold watches. That figure is a published specification, not a claim about suitability for any particular water activity.

How is the later All Black edition different?
Watches of Switzerland’s 2018 roundup describes a separate Big Bang Unico World Poker Tour All Black, reference 411.CX.1113.LR.WPT17. It has a reported 45 mm case combining black-plated titanium and black ceramic, and a reported limited run of 188 pieces. Its bezel carries the four suit symbols, while a ruby-red number eight and red Super-LumiNova provide dial accents. The report also lists sapphire crystals on both sides, a WPT caseback and the HUB1242 chronograph. Watches of Switzerland’s 2018 roundup.
The All Black’s 45 mm size and 188-piece quantity belong to that later edition; they are not specifications for the 2015 steel and King Gold watches, which WatchTime reports at 45.5 mm, in runs of 200 and 100 respectively.

What was the WPT partnership context?
The World Poker Tour said in a January 2018 event update that Hublot had served as its official timekeeper and official watch since 2014. The update also said the European Championship Main Event winner would receive a Big Bang Unico steel watch. WPT’s January 2018 announcement.
In November 2019, WPT announced a renewed sponsorship for a seventh season. It said Season XVIII winners at televised final tables would receive a Hublot Big Bang Steel Ceramic watch, the season-long Player of the Year would receive a special-edition watch valued at $30,000, and 74 watches had been awarded to champions since the partnership began in Season XII. Is this the same as Hublot’s current Big Bang Original Unico?
No. Hublot’s current US page for the Big Bang Original Unico Titanium Coal Blue describes a separate 43 mm watch, reference 431.NX.717B.RX, with a HUB1280 flyback chronograph, approximately 72-hour power reserve and 100 m water resistance. Those specifications do not establish the dimensions or movement reference of the WPT editions. Hublot’s current US model page.
