The material combination carries the anniversary story: concrete evokes the UAE’s urban development, while desert sand and camel leather point to its desert heritage. The sources describe actual UAE desert sand in the dial, rather than a sand-colored dial. They also say the sand makes each dial unique; they do not specify how much sand is used or how it is incorporated.

What the dimensions suggest
