Plan on a complete Hublot checkup every three to five years, but do not expect a single published Hublot price. Hublot recommends that interval to protect seals from temperature changes, humidity and repeated shocks. The final cost depends on the collection, movement, materials, condition and country, so an inspection-based written estimate is the only dependable price. For budgeting, a Munich jeweller lists indicative complete-service starting prices of €400 to €880 for selected Hublot collections; those are independent workshop prices, not Hublot’s tariff.
How often should a Hublot watch be serviced?
Hublot’s owner guidance recommends a complete checkup every three to five years. The stated reason is that temperature variation, humidity and repeated shocks can degrade the watch’s seals and therefore its water resistance. This is a recommendation for a complete checkup; it is not a promise that every Hublot needs a full movement overhaul at exactly three years or exactly five years.

What’s actually slowing this PC down?
Pick the symptom - the matching free tool is one click away.
Wear patterns can justify an earlier appointment. Arrange an inspection sooner if the crown feels abnormal, condensation appears under the crystal, the watch has suffered a significant impact, or water resistance is important for an upcoming trip or activity. A watch that still appears to keep time can nevertheless need seal or lubrication attention, because visible accuracy does not reveal the condition of every gasket or internal component.
What the three-to-five-year recommendation does and does not mean
- It does mean: schedule a professional checkup in that window to assess sealing, case condition and movement performance.
- It does not mean: a fixed-price, automatic overhaul is due on a specific birthday of the watch.
- It does mean: water resistance should be treated as a maintained property, not a permanent feature guaranteed for the life of the watch.
How much does Hublot servicing cost?
Hublot’s public service information does not publish a universal overhaul tariff. The brand route normally diagnoses the watch first and then issues a model-specific estimate. Ask for that estimate in writing before authorizing extra work.

Independent prices can establish a planning range, but they are not Hublot prices. Juwelier Lun in Munich publishes the following indicative starting prices for a complete service:
| Collection | Steel, titanium or ceramic case | Gold-crown version |
|---|---|---|
| Big Bang and Classic Fusion | From €400 | From €470 |
| Spirit of Big Bang | From €560 | From €630 |
| King Power | From €740 | From €880 |
Those figures are starting prices from that Munich workshop in 2026. Its listed ancillary prices are €140 for a small service, €25 for water-resistance testing and €220 for polishing, with a 24-month workshop guarantee. The same workshop notes that its base complete-service price can exclude external items such as straps, crystals, bezels or clasps, so a quote can rise when those parts need replacement.

It also cites one manufacturer estimate of six to 12 weeks. These are broad market observations, not a promise for any Hublot model, complication or location. Currency, local labor rates, shipping, taxes, case material and parts availability can all change the total.
What makes one Hublot service more expensive than another?
- Collection and caliber: a basic three-hand movement generally requires less labor than a chronograph, tourbillon or other complicated caliber.
- Case material: ceramic, carbon, magnesium, sapphire and precious metals require different equipment and refinishing skills.
- Condition: worn gaskets, damaged screws, a crown or crown tube, and defective movement parts add parts and labor.
- Finishing choice: polishing or surface restoration may be optional and separately priced.
- Geography: workshop rates, taxes and transport vary by country.
What happens during a Hublot complete service?
A complete service is more than cleaning the outside of the case. Hublot describes a sequence that combines case and sealing work with a full movement overhaul, followed by performance tests.
- Intake and diagnosis. The watch is received through a Hublot boutique, an authorized retailer or Hublot’s repair-and-services request route. The condition, model and required work are assessed before a binding estimate is prepared.
- Case disassembly and inspection. The case is taken apart and examined. Surfaces may be polished or refinished where the material and condition make that appropriate.
- Sealing and crown work. Gaskets are replaced, and screws, the crown or the crown tube are replaced when inspection shows they are defective or no longer suitable.
- Movement disassembly. Hublot states that the movement is completely disassembled so each part can be inspected, cleaned and lubricated. Defective elements are replaced as necessary.
- Reassembly and regulation. The cleaned and lubricated movement is rebuilt, fitted with new hands where required, cased up and secured with the case-back screwed down.
- Final testing. Hublot says the completed watch undergoes water-resistance testing, timing controls and a power-reserve test. These checks verify sealing and operating performance after the work.
Which work is usually included, and what may be extra?
Hublot’s description covers the case, seals and movement process above. A workshop’s package can define the boundary differently. Before approval, confirm in writing whether polishing, replacement straps, crystals, bezels, clasps and other external components are included, excluded or separately quoted. The Munich price list specifically warns that several external components are outside its base complete-service price.

Should you use Hublot or an independent watchmaker?
Both routes can be appropriate. The official route provides Hublot-network intake and the brand’s stated warranty framework. A qualified independent may publish clearer starting prices and have strong expertise in a particular movement or material, but the workshop’s authorization, parts policy and guarantee must be checked individually.

What warranty applies to a serviced or newly purchased Hublot?
For watches purchased from 1 January 2026, Hublot states a five-year international warranty, with the possibility of an additional five years through Hublotista registration. Watches purchased through 31 December 2025 generally have a two-year warranty. Authorized Hublot repairs carry a 12-month repair-service warranty.
Keep the service invoice, estimate and warranty paperwork together. The documents show what was actually performed and which provider is responsible if a covered repair issue occurs. Confirm the warranty terms on the specific paperwork, especially when work is performed outside the brand network.
Does your older Hublot qualify for the complimentary service offer?
Selected watches purchased online or in a Hublot boutique by 31 December 2025 may include one complimentary Complete Service stated at a value of CHF 1,000. It can be used once after the original warranty and through the watch’s seventh anniversary: years three through seven for Hublotista members, or years two through seven for non-members. Watches bought from 1 January 2026 are excluded from this offer.

Eligibility is limited to the selected watches and the stated purchase channels and dates. Check the warranty or purchase record before assuming the benefit applies; an ordinary older Hublot is not automatically entitled to it.
How should you prepare a Hublot servicing request?
A precise request reduces surprises and makes competing estimates easier to compare.
- Identify the watch. Provide the collection, reference, movement or complication if known, purchase date, purchase channel and current location.
- Describe the symptoms and use. Note timing concerns, impact or water exposure, condensation, crown behavior and whether you need restored water resistance for regular swimming or travel.
- State cosmetic preferences. Say whether polishing or refinishing is wanted, optional or not authorized. Surface removal can be a significant decision on a sharp-edged case.
- Request an itemized estimate. Ask for movement labor, seals, crown or crown-tube work, screws, replacement parts, polishing, testing, shipping, taxes and any excluded components to be listed separately.
- Ask about timing and authorization. Confirm when diagnosis will be complete, the expected turnaround, how additional defects are approved and what warranty follows the work.
- Record the handover. Photograph the watch and accessories, note visible marks and retain the intake receipt and estimate.
What should you do after the service?
Check that the returned watch matches the agreed scope and that the paperwork records the service date, tests and warranty. Follow the workshop’s instructions for winding, setting and early water exposure. For routine care between services, Hublot advises using a soft cloth for strap care and a microfibre cloth for matte-ceramic maintenance. Wiping the exterior does not replace a movement service or a water-resistance test.
Arrange a prompt review if condensation returns, the crown no longer seals normally, the watch suffers a new impact or its performance changes sharply. A service warranty is easiest to use when the invoice and the original estimate are available.
What is the practical cost-and-service decision?
Use the three-to-five-year interval as a planning trigger, not as an automatic overhaul deadline. Obtain a model-specific written estimate from Hublot or a qualified independent, compare the exact scope and warranty, and treat the €400–€880 Munich figures and €450–€1,200 market references as budgeting context only. The right provider is the one that can document competent movement work, appropriate case-material handling, sealing tests and the parts and finishing choices you actually authorize.

Hublot servicing questions readers ask
Are the quoted euro prices valid for every country?
No. The €400–€880 figures come from one Munich workshop and are stated as starting prices. Local labor, tax, shipping, currency conversion, parts availability and the watch’s condition can produce a materially different estimate elsewhere.
Can a water-resistance test replace a complete service?
No. A pressure or water-resistance test checks sealing at that moment, while a complete service also disassembles, cleans, lubricates and inspects the movement and replaces defective parts. Use a standalone test only when a professional says the broader service is not yet required.
Why might an independent workshop’s final bill exceed its advertised starting price?
Starting prices may exclude damaged external components and unusual complications. Straps, crystals, bezels, clasps, crowns, crown tubes or movement parts can be itemized after inspection, so ask what is outside the base package before authorizing work.
