The IFL Watches Bulova Super Seville Mural is an aftermarket customization built on Bulova reference 96B440, not a factory Bulova edition. Its defining feature is a hand-painted, graffiti-inspired dial; IFL says the watch was opened and modified after its original retail purchase, and that Bulova did not perform, authorize or endorse the customization. That distinction matters as much as the artwork when considering the watch.
What is the Bulova Super Seville Mural?
IFL Watches identifies Bulova reference 96B440 as the base watch for its Mural edition. IFL describes the dial as a collage of graffiti-inspired characters, symbols and colors influenced by New York City street art. The underlying design retains the Super Seville’s TV-shaped steel case, grooved bezel and integrated three-link bracelet. IFL also lists a sweeping seconds hand. The custom dial changes the watch’s visual character, but the listing does not establish that the underlying watch has been otherwise upgraded.
What IFL discloses about the customization

In practical terms, this is a Bulova-based custom watch sold by IFL, not a Bulova-designed Mural colorway. A buyer comparing it with a standard Super Seville should weigh the distinctive artwork against the fact that the dial work and opening were done outside Bulova’s manufacturing process. Do not assume that every statement on Bulova’s collection page documents the exact customized watch or independently verifies its condition after IFL’s work.

The Mural’s strongest reason to choose it is its one-off look: IFL presents the colorful street-art-inspired dial as unique on each piece, within a stated 300-watch run. That makes the watch a markedly different visual option from a standard Super Seville. The same individuality means a buyer should judge the actual dial shown in the listing or supplied by the seller, rather than assume every example has an identical arrangement of artwork.

Before deciding, check the exact watch’s photographs, what “modified or replaced” means for that particular dial, the warranty and service terms, and whether the seller can document any water-resistance testing performed after customization. The available sources do not establish comparative durability, owner consensus, resale value or measured performance, so those should not be inferred from the product description.
