It takes the thin, vintage-inspired chronograph Angelus is known for and gives it a tachymeter-style dial instead of the telemeter layout of the original design. The official product page contains one contradiction on that point, which is covered below.
What Angelus lists for the watch
Angelus publishes the following specifications on its official product page for reference 0CHCS.H01A.V1271S. The product page is the source for every value in the table except the power reserve, which comes from launch coverage and is not repeated in the product listing.

Angelus frames the collaboration in its own words: “For the fifth chapter in the Montre de Souscription series, MONOCHROME Watches has teamed up with Angelus to create its own version of the brand’s refined monopusher chronograph.” That is corporate product copy rather than a statement from a named designer or executive.
The tachymeter or telemeter question
The product page contradicts itself on the dial’s scale. The narrative says Angelus “opted for a Tachymeter dial instead of the original Telemeter design.” The technical functions line, however, still reads “20 km telemeter scale.” The model name and the stated design intent point to a tachymeter scale. The functions line is the outlier, and the sources reviewed do not show whether the production dial carries a tachymeter scale, a telemeter scale, or both.

Until Angelus or Monochrome clarifies the point, a reader should not treat the scale as settled. Anyone comparing this watch with the telemeter model should confirm the scale directly rather than relying on the functions line.
How it differs from the Chronographe Télémètre
Angelus lists the Chronographe Télémètre in its La Fabrique collection as a separate 37 mm monopusher with a telemeter scale. The two are different models, not interchangeable references. The table below compares only what each model’s own listing supports.

The collection page is the place to check whether the telemeter model is offered as a limited release. For the collaboration, the product page is the primary reference.

T3 reported on January 29, 2026 that the fifth Monochrome–Angelus subscription watch was offered for a 10-day sale at €18,500. That is launch-period coverage. It does not show whether the watch is still available in October 2026, whether the sale has reopened, or what it trades for on the secondary market. Those points were not established by the sources reviewed, so readers should confirm current status with Angelus or Monochrome before assuming a purchase route exists.

Before you decide
- Confirm the production dial scale in writing with Angelus or Monochrome, given the contradiction on the product page.
- Confirm current availability and whether the subscription sale is still open; launch-period coverage is dated January 2026.
- Treat the 42-hour power reserve as T3’s figure unless it is confirmed on Angelus’s product page.
