It is the brands’ second collaboration, following the 2021 LM FlyingT Allegra.
How the Serpenti design became an MB&F Horological Machine
Bvlgari’s Serpenti motif dates to 1948 in the brand’s creations, according to MB&F. For this collaboration, the snake’s rounded, enveloping form becomes an unconventional watch architecture rather than a conventional dial with hands. The result brings Bvlgari’s recognizable design language together with MB&F’s mechanical-watchmaking approach.
Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Bvlgari’s Director of Watchmaking Creation, described the design as “a totally different vision” of the serpent: “It is not just a feminine object linked to the brand’s DNA but, for the first time, a technical object that speaks to the Bvlgari aesthetic and showcases MB&F’s expertise.” Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO of Bvlgari Group, called it “an extraordinary creation, reimagining our brand’s most famous icon, Serpenti, into an astonishing design powered by a beautiful MB&F caliber.” These are the brands’ characterizations of the project.
How does the Bvlgari × MB&F Serpenti tell time?
Instead of reading time from conventional hands, the wearer reads two rotating domes. The left dome indicates the hours over a 12-hour cycle; the right dome indicates minutes over a 60-minute cycle. A prominent 14 mm flying balance wheel sits above the domes, making the movement itself a central part of the view.

The watch is manually wound. MB&F specifies a 45-hour power reserve, with the reserve indication on the case back. Its product manual lists 310 components, 32 jewels, and a frequency of 18,000 beats per hour, or 2.5 Hz. These are manufacturer specifications, not independent measurements.
Case, crystals and wearing details
MB&F specifies a 39 mm case width and overall dimensions of 53 × 39 × 18 mm. Five sapphire crystals form part of the construction, including the domes and the rear section. The strap is hand-stitched rubber and uses a Velcro fastening system.

The maker lists water resistance at 3 ATM / 30 m / 90 ft. That figure is a published specification; no independent water-resistance test is available here, so it should not be treated as a separate test result.

MB&F lists three material-and-color combinations. Each edition is limited to 33 pieces, for 99 watches across the three editions.
