Louis Vuitton places these projects within La Fabrique du Temps Louis Vuitton in Geneva, which its high-watchmaking page describes as a gathering place for specialized watchmaking artisans. That page’s listed novelties are from 2024, so it provides institutional context rather than a current list of releases.
Tambour Bushido Automata: a moving time display
The 46.8 mm pink-gold Bushido Automata uses jumping hours and retrograde minutes rather than conventional central time hands. Its samurai-inspired face is also an automaton: a button press triggers five movements over 16 seconds, according to the 2025 Fratello report.

The watch is 14.4 mm thick, and the moving elements make the dial an active part of its time display rather than a static decoration. The source also reports more than 140 hours of engraving. For enameling, it gives two distinct figures: more than 200 hours of case enameling, including cloisonné and paillonné techniques, and 120 hours dedicated to enameling. Those figures are not reconciled in the article, so they should not be combined into a single total.
Tambour Taiko Galactique: sound with a celestial automaton
The Taiko Galactique is a 46.7 mm titanium-and-white-gold minute repeater on a blue rubber strap. Its three cathedral gongs sound the hours, quarter hours, and minutes; central hour and minute hands provide the time display. A minute repeater communicates the time acoustically when activated, while the hands remain available for a quick visual reading.

Alongside the repeater, seven animations depict an astronaut, satellite, stars, and sun. The bespoke, hand-wound LFT AU14.02 movement is reported to contain 459 components and 46 jewels, require 220 hours of assembly, and provide a 100-hour power reserve. The article also reports more than 300 hours of enamel and engraving work for the watch.
Escale en Amazonie Pocket Watch: repeater, tourbillon, and jungle scene
The 50 mm white-gold Escale en Amazonie is a pocket watch with a bespoke, hand-wound LFT AU14.03 movement. It combines a tourbillon and minute repeater with seven animations. The 2025 article calls it Louis Vuitton’s most complex watch to date at the time of publication; that is a dated characterization, not a claim about later releases.

The article reports 72 jewels, 555 movement components, 500 hours to assemble the movement, and an eight-day power reserve. It also says the complete piece took more than 1,000 hours—described as 2½ years—to complete. These are figures reported by Fratello in 2025, not independently audited production data.
The dial depicts a jungle scene rendered with 31 enamel colors, using miniature and paillonné enamel. Enamel applied to the underside of the sapphire glass adds a three-dimensional effect. The watch is accompanied by a bespoke leather bag and trunk, extending its presentation beyond the 19 mm-thick white-gold case.
