Romain Gauthier’s C Titanium Edition Bracelet gained two black-dial variants: MON00582, with a closed dial, and MON00584, with a semi-openworked dial. Both combine a Grade 5 titanium case and integrated bracelet with a manually wound in-house movement. Monochrome Watches reported launch-era prices of CHF 42,000 and CHF 52,000 respectively, excluding tax, in its 18 December 2024 article; those figures do not confirm current prices or availability.
What distinguishes the two black-dial versions?
The central difference is how much of the dial is openworked. MON00582 keeps the dial closed across the small-seconds area, while MON00584 opens part of the dial to reveal movement components and the small-seconds display at 7 o’clock.

The MON00584’s exposed area includes part of the escapement. Its numerals at 12, 3, 6 and 9, along with its applied indices, are made from blocks of Super-LumiNova. The closed-dial MON00582 uses the same luminous numerals and indices, but covers the small-seconds area.
Case and integrated bracelet
The C design traces back to the Continuum, introduced in 2021; an integrated titanium bracelet followed a year later, according to Monochrome Watches. The black-dial editions use a Grade 5 titanium case with a six-indentation scalloped bezel. Polished facets contrast with satin-finished surfaces, and the crown is positioned at 2 o’clock. The articulated titanium bracelet has satin-finished surfaces and polished connecting links.

Monochrome Watches’ 2024 article reports a 41 mm case diameter, 50 m water resistance and a weight of 85 g including the bracelet. Its thickness and lug-to-lug measurements conflict: the article body gives 9.95 mm and 49.5 mm, while its specification block gives 9.55 mm and 47.8 mm. The article does not explain the discrepancy, so those dimensions should be confirmed with the manufacturer before relying on them.
Movement and stop-seconds function
Both watches use a manually wound in-house calibre displaying hours, minutes and small seconds. Monochrome Watches lists a 60-hour power reserve, 154 components, 24 jewels, a 32.1 mm diameter, a 5.0 mm height and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour.

The movement’s stop-seconds system uses a snail cam. Pulling out the crown stops the balance wheel; pushing the crown back in turns the cam, which gives the balance an impulse to restart.
