The De Rijke & Co. Capri is the Dutch watchmaker’s first dress-watch collection: a slim, sculptural stainless-steel watch with curved geometry and three dial options. Its case measures 28.5 mm wide, 38 mm long and 6.5 mm thick. The manufacturer currently marks the Capri sold out and says a new series is expected in October 2026.
What is the De Rijke & Co. Capri?
Capri is De Rijke & Co.’s first dress watch and its second collection, following the Amalfi. The Amalfi is known for a case that rotates up to 90 degrees, a feature intended for a driver’s watch; Capri takes a different direction, emphasizing a shaped case, curved surfaces and understated proportions. The collection takes its name from the Italian island and is presented by the brand as a watch for formal evenings.
The company describes itself as a Dutch-based mechanical watchmaker. Its official account places its atelier in Dordrecht and says designer-engineer Laurens de Rijke develops and manufactures most parts there. Those are the company’s own statements about its work.
Case, crystal and proportions
The stainless-steel case measures 28.5 mm across, 38 mm from end to end and 6.5 mm thick, according to the official Capri product page. A curved sapphire crystal, with transparent anti-reflective coating on both sides, follows the watch’s architectural profile. De Rijke & Co. says the crystal’s shape draws inspiration from bowed shopfront glass and mid-century architecture, with the dial edges curved to follow it.

The caseback screws sit behind the strap, hidden from view to preserve the case’s uninterrupted outline. The manufacturer lists water resistance at 3 ATM (30 m). That rating is a specification, not a recommendation for swimming.
Three dial versions
The collection is offered in black onyx, black aventurine and Capri Blue. The blue version has applied baton indices, a small-seconds register at six o’clock and a red seconds hand. The two dark versions show hours and minutes without hour markers; Monochrome describes their hands as openworked.

Movement and published specifications
The Capri uses a manually wound La Joux-Perret movement. Monochrome identifies the small-seconds calibre as D100 and the hours-and-minutes calibre as D101; both Monochrome and Fratello report 18 jewels and a 50-hour power reserve. Their published frequency figures conflict: Monochrome gives 21,600 vibrations per hour, while Fratello’s specification table gives 28,800 vph for the D100. The frequency should therefore be treated as unconfirmed unless the manufacturer clarifies it.

Strap fit and replacement
The listed 24 mm-to-18 mm strap dimensions describe its width, but do not establish that a conventional straight-end replacement will fit. Because the strap is designed to integrate flush with the case, confirm attachment compatibility with De Rijke & Co. or a specialist before ordering a generic strap.

Price, edition and availability
The manufacturer lists the Capri at €2,195, excluding VAT and taxes, with worldwide shipping included. Each dial version is limited to 50 pieces; the brand says the watches are not individually numbered. These details appear on the product page.
Availability is date-sensitive. The official collection page currently marks Capri “Sold Out,” while its product page says “New series expected: October 2026.” These current manufacturer listings take precedence over earlier launch forecasts: Monochrome anticipated deliveries from March 2026, and Fratello reported April/May 2026 in February 2026. Those earlier dates were estimates, not current delivery commitments.
