The February 2026 launch paired the same 38.5 mm steel case and hand-wound movement with two contrasting dial and case treatments.
What makes the Medicus a doctor’s chronograph?
The Medicus adapts Habring²’s Chrono-Felix with scales intended to help read pulse and respiration rates. The concept followed the brands’ 2021 Erwin “Star” collaboration. SJX says the idea came from a collector who owned that earlier watch and physicians who wanted a doctor’s chronograph. The dial also carries a tachymeter, while the chronograph measures elapsed time.
It is a monopusher: one pusher controls the chronograph functions, rather than separate start, stop and reset pushers. Its central chronograph seconds hand works with a 30-minute counter at 12 o’clock. The specific movement is the A11C-H0; this is not the COS-Felix, a different Habring² chronograph with a crown-operated system, as the brand’s COS-Felix archive makes clear.
Two editions, 50 watches in total
The limited collaboration comprises 25 watches in each configuration. Their differences are not just dial color: the case finish and accents change too.

These details were reported by SJX at launch. The two treatments provide a choice of visual character; the published specifications do not indicate a difference in movement or functions between them.

The launch coverage credits independent watchmaker Pöhlmann-Bresan with finishing the steel chronograph components. Hodinkee additionally reports hand finishing and an amagnetic escapement with a Carl Haas balance hairspring. These are reported construction details, not a substitute for an accuracy or magnetic-resistance rating; the available specifications do not give either. Launch price, delivery and availability
At launch on 23 February 2026, SJX listed the price at €7,750 or US$9,250 before taxes; it also reported SGD12,590 including GST. Orders through SJX required a 40% down payment, with delivery planned from May to July 2026 in order sequence. These are launch terms, not a statement of current price or a present delivery estimate.
SJX later displayed a notice that both versions had sold out through SJX, while reporting that a handful remained at Shellman in Tokyo for ¥1.75 million before tax. An SJX page dated 5 August 2026 described a watch from the final batch and repeated the original retail price. Those reports do not establish current retailer inventory or a secondary-market value; availability should be confirmed directly. The charity pledge
SJX reported that €700 from each watch sold by SJX would go to children’s cancer charities in Austria and Singapore, split equally between SJX and Habring² (€350 each). The report does not name the recipient charities. SJX attributed the idea to a request from the doctors who first proposed the watch: “The doctors who first mooted the idea of the watch had a request: part of the proceeds from their sale would go to a medical charity,” explains SJX. “It was a terrific idea that both myself and the Habrings instantly agreed to.”
