The HYT S1 Titanium Japan Limited Edition is a hydromechanical watch with a fluid-filled retrograde hour display. Reference H03300-A is limited to eight pieces and, according to HYT, available exclusively in Japan. HYT Japan identifies it as a model marking the 160th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Switzerland.
How the S1 Japan Limited Edition tells time
Instead of indicating the hours with a conventional hand, the S1 uses a fluidic retrograde display: black liquid moves through a borosilicate capillary tube around the dial to mark the hour. At the end of the scale, the fluid returns to its starting point for the next cycle. A central minutes hand and a separate power-reserve hand complete the display.
The dial combines anthracite DLC and rhodium-plated brass. HYT specifies the black liquid and capillary tube as part of the display; the watch’s unusual timekeeping presentation is the defining feature of this edition.

Price and availability
HYT lists the reference at CHF 58,000 excluding taxes. Separately, Japanese retailer Eye Eye Isuzu displayed a price of ¥13,090,000 including tax and marked its listing sold out with no planned restock. Those are different price bases from separate sources, and the retailer’s stock status is a time-sensitive snapshot, not confirmation of current availability across Japan.
HYT’s stated run of eight and Japan-only availability make this a narrowly distributed edition rather than a watch with broad retail availability. The retailer snapshot does not establish that another example can currently be purchased. HYT’s Japan product page presents the edition in the context of the 160th anniversary of Japan-Switzerland diplomatic relations. HYT also maintains a broader S1 collection, but the available model-specific details do not establish that this Japan edition differs mechanically from every other S1.
