Montoir announced four new dial colours for its MWMOD-01 V2 dive watch in January 2025: Mint, Salmon, Cool Grey and Green. The launch lineup also included Black, Blue and Polar White. The watch’s reported core specifications are a 40.5 mm stainless-steel case, 200 m water resistance and an automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement.
Which colours were added to the MWMOD-01 V2?
In its January 23, 2025 introduction, MONOCHROME identified Mint, Salmon, Cool Grey and Green as the new colours. Its launch lineup also comprised Black, Blue and Polar White. Time+Tide likewise listed seven colourways and described the Green option as having a matching bezel.
The colour distinction is most visible at the dial and bezel: launch coverage describes the Green watch with a green bezel insert, while the other launch colours use black inserts. Time+Tide reports black FKM straps on most versions and a blue strap on the Blue model. The available descriptions do not specify seconds-hand colours across the full lineup.
What are the reported specifications?
The following figures and features come from launch coverage, rather than independent testing. MONOCHROME disclosed that its article was sponsored by Montoir; Time+Tide said its overview was made in partnership with the brand.

Movement detail: the date function is not shown
The SW200-1 movement is described differently in the two launch articles. MONOCHROME says it has a date function that is not used on the dial, while Time+Tide calls it a customized version with the “ghost date” removed. Both accounts describe a watch without a date display; the articles differ on whether the underlying date mechanism remains.

A later indexed Montoir collection page showed mostly USD 379 listings and one at USD 425, with products marked sold out in that snapshot. Those indexed prices and labels do not establish a current price or live inventory.

Campaign history and availability
The V2 Kickstarter campaign ran from January 21 to 29, 2025. Kickstarter’s campaign record reports 179 backers and USD 71,923 pledged toward a USD 2,000 goal. Funding totals record the campaign’s result; they do not establish that every watch was delivered or that the model is currently in stock.

Fit and strap considerations
The 40.5 mm case and 48 mm lug-to-lug measurement are useful starting points when considering fit; wrist comfort will still depend on wrist shape and personal preference. The reported strap width is 20 mm. If replacing the strap, confirm the watch’s attachment and fit requirements before choosing an aftermarket option—the published specifications alone do not verify compatibility with a particular replacement.
What the launch coverage establishes
The V2 is presented as a follow-up to Montoir’s first dive watch, which MONOCHROME says launched in late 2023. The January 2025 update is chiefly a palette expansion: four named new colours join three colours already listed in launch coverage, while the core published dimensions and movement remain the useful reference points for evaluating the watch. Specifications here are published claims, not independently verified test results.
