What is the Wild ONE Skeleton 42mm Purple?
It is a purple colorway of NORQAIN’s 42mm Wild ONE Skeleton, officially named the Wild ONE Skeleton 42mm Purple Limited Edition. The look centers on an openworked dial, light-purple dial accents and a purple rubber strap with mesh-pattern details. A sapphire display back carries the light-purple inscription “LIMITED EDITION – ONE of 400,” according to the brand.
Case, dimensions and water resistance
The case uses NORTEQ carbon-fiber upper and lower cage components around a rubber middle case. NORQAIN describes the construction as shock-absorbing; it gives the watch a high-contrast combination of technical-looking carbon-fiber structure and colored rubber.

The purple-edition announcement does not state the watch’s full case thickness or lug width. The industry listing includes “Thickness: 2.3 mm (NORTEQ®),” but does not establish that this is the thickness of the complete watch, so it should not be treated as a full-watch measurement. Dimensions listed for another 42mm Wild ONE colorway are not confirmed specifications for this purple edition.
Movement and power reserve
The watch has an automatic skeleton movement described by NORQAIN as COSC-certified, with a 41-hour power reserve. The caliber name is inconsistent across the two model-specific sources: NORQAIN Japan calls it NB08S, while the Federation of the Swiss Watch Industry lists NN08S. The available listings do not resolve the discrepancy; check the watch’s model documentation for the caliber designation rather than assuming one spelling is correct.

Price, edition size and warranty
NORQAIN Japan’s October 2025 announcement gives a price of ¥990,000 including tax in Japan. This is the price stated for the Japanese release, not a verified current price or a global price. The brand sets the worldwide edition at 400 pieces.
The announcement describes a two-year international warranty, with one additional year available when the purchaser registers their information at purchase. It lists two buckle options: a black NORTEQ pin buckle or a black DLC titanium folding clasp.

The closest available family reference is NORQAIN’s separate 42mm Gecko-color Wild ONE Skeleton. Its product page gives a 12.30mm thickness, 22mm lug width, 200m water resistance and a current 2+1-year warranty. Those are specifications for the Gecko variant, not confirmed specifications for the purple limited edition.
