What is the SERICA 6190 TXD?
The 6190 TXD is SERICA’s Field Chronometer variant defined by its returning Tuxedo dial. SERICA says the two-tone design first appeared on one of its watches nearly four years earlier; the new version changes the dial layout rather than simply reproducing the original. The brand calls the design elegant and rare, which is its own characterization.
On the TXD product page, SERICA lists automatic winding, Swiss chronometer precision, and 20-bar (200 m) water resistance. Those are manufacturer claims; the product text available here does not identify the movement caliber. The 200 m rating is a water-resistance specification, not by itself evidence that SERICA classifies the watch as a dive watch.
What changed on the Tuxedo dial?
A third color in the center
The defining update is a third color in the central sector, set against the surrounding two-tone design. SERICA presents the added contrast as a way to aid readability. That is the brand’s design intent, not an independently measured legibility result.

Applied indexes, brushed hands, and white lume
The refreshed dial uses hand-applied indexes. SERICA also brings back brushed hands used on early SERICA Field Watches, pairing them with pure-white SuperLuminova. The combination gives the watch additional surface and color contrast without the artificial patina the brand says it chose not to use. These details describe the manufacturer’s choices; they do not establish how brightly or how long the luminous material glows.

The 37.7 mm diameter and 46.5 mm lug-to-lug figure give a more useful starting point for fit than diameter alone: lug-to-lug helps indicate how much of the wrist the case spans. Personal fit still depends on wrist shape and preference, so these measurements are best compared with a watch that already wears comfortably on you.

Which bracelet size should you choose?
SERICA’s sizing guide offers small, standard, and extra-long bracelet options. It uses both wrist circumference and palm circumference, since the hand must pass through the bracelet. The listed wrist ranges are:

The ranges overlap, so measure rather than choosing from wrist circumference alone. SERICA’s guide also sets maximum palm circumferences for bracelet passage and advises choosing the larger size when between sizes. Price, availability, and purchase terms
SERICA’s product page displayed a price of €1,190 and sold-out/waitlist controls when retrieved in 2026. That is a dated page snapshot, not a promise of the current price or stock status; confirm both on the live official product page.
The same page stated free shipping, an estimated 5–10 days for products in stock, a 14-day return window from delivery, and a two-year international warranty from receipt. SERICA’s terms also included a condition affecting refunds before shipment. These purchase terms can change, so read the live terms and product page before paying.

What the published specifications do—and do not—establish
The TXD page names automatic winding and Swiss chronometer precision but does not name the movement caliber in the product text available here. SERICA’s support article for the related 6190-EDG identifies a SoProd M100 COSC movement, but that is not direct confirmation of the TXD’s caliber. It should not be treated as proof that both references use the same movement.
Likewise, the case dimensions reported by Monochrome Watches are measurements from that publication, while the water resistance, thickness, and movement-related descriptions above are SERICA’s stated specifications. No independent accuracy deviation, production total, or consumer-response figure is established here.
