The SpaceOne WorldTimer replaces the familiar hands-and-city-ring layout with rotating discs. Separate displays show minutes, seconds and local 12-hour time, while two coaxial discs pair 24-hour time with city names. The unusual layout is the watch’s defining feature; its published specifications list a Soprod P024 automatic base movement and a WorldTimer complication developed by Theo Auffret.
How does the SpaceOne WorldTimer work?
Instead of using conventional hands to indicate the time, the WorldTimer distributes its displays across rotating discs. SpaceOne describes the arrangement as a minutes disc at 3 o’clock, a central seconds disc, a local 12-hour disc at 6 o’clock, and two coaxial discs at 9 o’clock for 24-hour time and corresponding cities. SpaceOne’s product page calls this a departure from traditional hands; Fratello’s June 20, 2025 introduction also describes local and world time as spread across discs.
How do you read the SpaceOne WorldTimer?
Read the local time from the 12-hour disc at 6 o’clock and the minutes from the separate disc at 3 o’clock. The central disc indicates seconds. At 9 o’clock, the 24-hour disc and city disc work together to show world time against the named time zones. This separates the local-time display from the paired 24-hour-and-city indication rather than placing city names around a conventional hand-driven dial.
The brand credits Theo Auffret with developing and assembling the complication and Olivier Gamiette with the design. Those credits concern the WorldTimer mechanism and design; the listed base movement is made by Soprod. SpaceOne says its design language draws on space exploration and the space-age period associated with the 1960s space race. The official collection page presents the rotating-disc approach as central to the model.

What movement is in the SpaceOne WorldTimer?
SpaceOne’s published specifications identify the base calibre as a Soprod P024 automatic movement and the WorldTimer mechanism as an in-house complication. The specifications also list a 38-hour power reserve and a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 Hz). The watch is assembled in Paris, according to the brand. Fratello’s June 2025 launch coverage additionally describes the movement as allowing manual winding and hacking seconds. That is a report about the launch model, not an independent movement test.

What are the SpaceOne WorldTimer’s case and water-resistance specifications?
The official specification lists a grade 5 titanium case and buckle, sapphire domes, and water resistance of 3 ATM / 30 m. Case dimensions are 52.7 mm long, 41.9 mm lug-to-lug and 15.88 mm thick; the thickness measurement includes the raised 24-hour/city dome. The listed strap tapers from 22 mm to 18 mm. These figures are SpaceOne’s published specifications.
The 3 ATM / 30 m rating is the published figure; the available product information does not establish that the watch is suitable for swimming or diving. Nor does a stated 22 mm strap width alone confirm that a particular replacement strap or buckle will fit—check the taper and buckle dimensions before buying.

The official blue listing gives the European price and first-batch quantity. The Japanese figures come from Beyond Cool’s retailer announcement via PR TIMES. The prices reflect different markets and tax treatment, not a like-for-like comparison.

Is the SpaceOne WorldTimer available?
Availability cannot be established from launch announcements alone. Fratello reported that preorders began June 26, 2025, at €2,700 excluding VAT, with 600 pieces planned for delivery before the end of 2025. That was a dated launch plan, not confirmation of present stock. The official blue page separately describes a 200-piece first batch; those page-specific quantities should not be combined into a definitive total production figure.
For Japan, Beyond Cool announced an in-store launch beginning December 27, 2025, followed by a general online release on January 5, 2026. These dates and edition counts apply to that Japanese announcement and do not establish current inventory or the allocation in other markets. Check the relevant product listing or retailer for current availability. The official black listing had shown sold-out status and an early-December 2025 delivery notice in a historical listing; that page state is not evidence of stock today. The official purple listing described a 200-piece batch.
