What is the YEMA Yachtingraff?
The Yachtingraff, reference YMHF1588-ATPS, is a design collaboration between YEMA and Romaric André, the artist known as seconde/seconde/. YEMA presents it as a 1960s sailing chronograph turned into a canvas for the artist. Launch coverage identifies the 1960s Yachtingraf Croisière as the starting point; reports differ on whether the predecessor dates to 1968 or 1969, so the broader decade is the clearest description. YEMA’s product page and the launch reports from Fratello and Hodinkee describe the design and its inspiration.
What makes the Yachtingraff different?
The collaborative treatment changes the watch’s visual language without abandoning its sailing-chronograph concept. Painted, layered subdials and contrasting blocks of color give the face a deliberately worked-over look; the logo is defaced as part of the graffiti concept. The chronograph pushers are shaped to evoke aerosol spray-can caps, and the large countdown register is both the dial’s visual center and its regatta-timing feature. The caseback carries the engraving “La Croisière, ma muse.” YEMA renders the phrase in its copy as “The Love Boat”; Hodinkee explains it as “The cruise, my muse” and connects the wording to the French title of The Love Boat.

The thickness figure is not consistent across published specifications: YEMA lists 13 mm, Fratello reports 12.3 mm, and Hodinkee gives 10.53 mm in its prose and 10.3 mm in its specification block. The launch coverage does not reconcile the measurements. YEMA’s current product listing is the source for the table above. Fratello reports a 46 mm lug-to-lug measurement, but YEMA does not list that dimension on the product page.

What movement and timing functions does it use?
YEMA specifies the Seiko VK63 hybrid mechanical-quartz movement. Its listed chronograph indications cover 60 minutes, 24 hours and 60 seconds. The large countdown register brings the sailing-chronograph inspiration into the dial design, but the manufacturer’s specification list does not describe a separate countdown mechanism or operating procedure.
How water resistant is the Yachtingraff?
YEMA rates the watch at 10 bar, equivalent to 100 m or 330 ft. That is the manufacturer’s stated water-resistance rating; it should not be read as a guarantee for every activity or as a substitute for following the brand’s use and care guidance.

How much did the YEMA × seconde/seconde/ watch cost at launch?
Fratello’s June 20, 2025 launch report gave a price of €449, with preorders scheduled to open on June 25 at 16:00 CEST / 10:00 EDT and deliveries expected at the beginning of September 2025. Hodinkee’s June 25, 2025 report also cited €449 and September deliveries. These are launch-era details, not confirmation of today’s price or stock. Fratello reported that the model was not a limited edition at launch; that does not establish current availability. Check YEMA’s live listing and the relevant market before buying.
