Whether it is affordable depends on your local price: SHRIRO Australia, an official Casio distributor, listed the MRW200H-1B at AUD $99.95 when its product page was accessed in 2026. That is a regional listing, not a universal price or a current quote for other markets.
What the MRW200H offers
Casio describes the MRW200H as a “classic diver-look watch.” Its product page highlights large dial indexes, a bi-directional rotating bezel and 100 m water resistance. The model uses three-hand analog timekeeping and includes a day/date display, making its feature set straightforward rather than feature-heavy. Casio Canada’s MRW200H-1BV product page provides the Canadian-market description; model suffixes and color options vary by market.
Is the Casio MRW200H affordable?
“Affordable” is a local, date-sensitive judgment, not a fixed property of the watch. SHRIRO Australia’s official Casio distributor listing showed AUD $99.95 for the MRW200H-1B when accessed in 2026. Currency, tax treatment, stock and local retail pricing differ, so check the price and exact color suffix in your own market before comparing it with alternatives. The Australian listing is not evidence of a current street price elsewhere. SHRIRO Australia’s MRW200H-1B listing

What does 100 m water resistance mean for swimming and diving?
Casio rates the MRW200H at 100 m, but that rating should not be read as permission for every activity associated with diving. Casio’s operation guide says watches rated at 10 atmospheres may be used for swimming and skin diving, but not scuba diving or other diving that requires air tanks. The MRW200H is diver-inspired in appearance; the cited product information does not establish it as a certified scuba-diving watch. Casio operation guide
The rating also cannot tell you whether a particular used watch is still water-resistant: its condition and seals are individual factors not established by the model specification.
Rank #2
- DIVER-INSPIRED DESIGN WITH FUNCTIONAL ROTATING BEZEL: The Casio MRW200H Series features a sporty, diver-style aesthetic with a rotary bezel that allows for easy time tracking. The large analog display with bold hour markers ensures quick readability, making it an excellent choice for everyday wear, outdoor adventures, and work settings.
- 100M WATER RESISTANCE FOR EVERYDAY USE: Designed to handle water exposure up to 100 meters (330 feet), this watch is suitable for swimming, snorkeling, and daily wear. Whether you're exploring the outdoors, caught in the rain, or near water, the MRW200H Series provides dependable performance in a variety of conditions.
- DAY & DATE DISPLAY FOR ADDED CONVENIENCE: The integrated day and date window at the 3 o’clock position offers at-a-glance calendar tracking. This feature is especially useful for those who rely on their watch to keep track of dates, appointments, and schedules while maintaining a classic analog timekeeping format.
- DURABLE RESIN BAND WITH LIGHTWEIGHT COMFORT: The resin band and case provide a secure, lightweight fit, making this watch comfortable for all-day wear. The buckle closure ensures a snug and adjustable fit, while the resin glass offers added durability, helping to protect against scratches and everyday wear.
- LONG-LASTING BATTERY WITH RELIABLE QUARTZ MOVEMENT: Powered by a SR626SW battery, this watch delivers up to 3 years of operation with minimal maintenance. The quartz movement ensures accurate timekeeping with an accuracy of ±20 seconds per month, making it a dependable timepiece for daily use.
What are the practical tradeoffs?
- Readable, uncomplicated display: Casio lists large indexes, three-hand analog timekeeping, day/date and a rotating bezel. These are concrete features; readability in every lighting condition is not established by the cited specifications.
- Resin construction and glass: The Australian listing specifies a resin case, bezel, band and glass. The sources do not provide measured scratch resistance or long-term durability results, so material labels alone cannot settle how well a particular watch will hold up.
- Size and fit: The listed 47.9 × 44.6 × 11.6 mm dimensions and 145–215 mm band range can help screen for fit, but individual wrist comfort is subjective and has not been tested here.
- Specified timekeeping and battery: SHRIRO Australia states accuracy of ±20 seconds per month and approximately three years of battery life on an SR626SW. These are listing specifications, not independent test results.
How to judge it against other watches
A useful comparison starts with your intended use and local offers rather than the diver-style look alone. Check these points for each candidate:
- Local price: compare the exact market variant and retailer listing, including currency and applicable taxes.
- Water use: match the stated rating and manual guidance to swimming, skin diving or your other intended activity; do not infer scuba suitability from a depth-style rating.
- Fit: compare case dimensions and band range with a watch you already find comfortable.
- Materials: check the listed glass and case materials against your priorities, without assuming unmeasured scratch resistance or durability.
- Display and functions: decide whether you want analog or digital timekeeping, day/date, and a rotating bezel.
The available specifications do not establish a competitor ranking. They do provide a concrete checklist for comparing the MRW200H with watches actually available at your local price.
