The green Omega Seamaster Diver 300M has a distinctive, coordinated dial-and-bezel design—but “most attractive ever” depends on your taste and which Seamaster you mean.

If you mean the green-dial Omega Seamaster Diver 300M, reference 210.30.42.20.10.001, it has a strong case: its green dial and bezel make a familiar steel dive-watch design unusually cohesive and distinctive. “Most attractive ever,” though, is a matter of taste, not a ranking supported by a survey or objective measure. And it is worth naming the model precisely: the heritage Seamaster 300 is a separate Omega collection.

Which green Seamaster does the title mean?

“Seamaster 300” can refer to two different Omega families. The Seamaster Diver 300M is the contemporary diver most often meant in casual references to the green Seamaster. The distinct Seamaster 300 is the heritage-styled line. Omega Japan’s family listing shows the heritage family and its separate references.

The green Diver 300M at the center of this comparison is reference 210.30.42.20.10.001, shown with a green dial, green bezel, stainless-steel bracelet and date at 6 o’clock. Omega product sheets also identify a green-rubber-strap configuration, reference 210.32.42.20.10.001. These product details are listed in Omega product sheets hosted by an authorized retailer.

What makes this green Diver 300M appealing?

A coordinated, confident color choice

The core design idea is simple: the green dial and bezel repeat the same bold color across the face of a stainless-steel dive watch. That coordination gives the watch a more unified look than a model that uses green only as a small accent. It also makes the watch more visually assertive than a black or blue diver. Whether that is attractive or too attention-grabbing depends on the wearer.

Two configurations, two impressions

The steel bracelet gives reference 210.30.42.20.10.001 a more substantial, polished appearance. The green rubber strap on reference 210.32.42.20.10.001 makes the color treatment feel more continuous and informal. The strap option is an official configuration; that fact alone does not establish that an aftermarket strap will fit either reference.

Dial balance and practical details

The date at 6 o’clock is part of the green-dial model’s layout. When judging the look, consider whether the date feels integrated with the dial, how clearly the hands and markers stand out against the green, and whether the bezel’s markings remain easy to read at a glance. Those are useful visual criteria, but they are not a measured verdict on attractiveness.

How does it compare with the heritage Seamaster 300?

The heritage Seamaster 300 is not simply another colorway of the Diver 300M. It belongs to a separate family with vintage-inspired design cues. Omega’s 21 November 2024 announcement describes vintage styling in the newer Diver 300M collection; that is the brand’s design characterization, not a claim that one model is more attractive.

A green heritage Seamaster 300 also exists. WatchTime’s review of reference 234.30.41.21.03.001 offers an independent aesthetic view of that watch, but it concerns the heritage family, not the green Diver 300M discussed here. The comparison is therefore less a contest between interchangeable models than a choice between a contemporary diver’s bolder presence and a heritage design’s more vintage-oriented character.

Is it the most attractive Omega Seamaster ever?

There is no established preference survey or defensible all-time ranking that proves it is. The strongest case for the green Diver 300M is that its color is purposeful rather than incidental: the green dial and bezel form a clear visual identity, while the familiar steel-dive-watch format keeps the design grounded.

The case against calling it the most attractive is equally personal. Green is less neutral than black or blue, so this watch may be harder to pair with a broad range of clothing or occasions. Someone who values restraint, vintage cues or a less prominent wrist presence may prefer another Seamaster. The choice comes down to which design qualities matter most to you, not to an objective winner.

How to decide whether its look suits you

  • Choose the steel-bracelet version if you prefer a more structured, substantial look.
  • Consider the green rubber configuration if you want a sportier, more informal appearance.
  • Compare it with black or blue options if everyday versatility matters more to you than a distinctive color statement.
  • Look at the heritage Seamaster 300 separately if vintage-inspired design is the attraction; it is a different model family.
  • Judge the dial in context by checking marker and hand contrast, bezel legibility and how the date at 6 o’clock affects the composition.
