The IWC Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Edition “Le Petit Prince” IW395503 pairs a city-ring world-time setting system with a 46 mm stainless-steel case, blue dial and blue ceramic ring. Its defining feature is practical: press and turn the ring to select a city, and the watch changes the local hour, 24-hour indication and date together.
What is the IWC IW395503?
IW395503 is the reference for IWC’s Pilot’s Watch Timezoner Edition “Le Petit Prince.” IWC describes it as the first “Le Petit Prince” edition to use the Timezoner function. IWC’s German product page identifies the edition as limited to 1,500 pieces. Phillips also lists 1,500 examples and dates the reference’s introduction to 2021 in its catalogue entry.
The reference matters because IWC has made other Pilot’s Watch and “Le Petit Prince” models with different specifications. Check for IW395503 when identifying this particular Timezoner.
How does the Timezoner work?
The city ring carries 24 city names representing international time zones. To set a destination time, press the ring at two opposite sides, rotate it until the desired city is at 12 o’clock, then release it. The watch updates the local hour, 24-hour display and date together in one-hour steps, forward or backward. IWC’s product description explains that the mechanism uses a differential gear to keep the hour hand’s drive continuous while the coupled indications move.

Setting daylight-saving time
IWC says to select the small “S” marker before a city name when setting for daylight-saving time. The intended city or its marked daylight-saving option is positioned at 12 o’clock using the same press-turn-release action.
This is a city-ring-operated world-time mechanism, not simply a conventional independently adjusted GMT hand. Its appeal is that one bezel adjustment changes the displayed local hour and date as a group.

IWC publishes these specifications on its German and English regional product pages. The 46 mm diameter and 15 mm height describe the case, not how it will fit a particular wrist. The 6-bar figure is the published rating, not a guarantee for an individual watch or a substitute for checking its condition. The listed 22 mm strap width can help narrow replacement-strap options, but width alone does not confirm that a particular strap or buckle will fit.

IWC’s regional pages have displayed €16,600 including tax on the German site, AED 57,400 including VAT on the UAE site, and €16,800 including tax on the Spanish site. These are localized page amounts observed in 2026, not a universal price or confirmation that a watch is in stock.
