Jaeger-LeCoultre released eight vintage Reverso watches dated 1931–1937 as the fifth capsule of its Collectibles program in February 2026. The launch offered the watches worldwide through the brand’s website and displayed them at its New York flagship; the three official product pages checked now say “Already sold.”
What Jaeger-LeCoultre offered
The fifth Collectibles capsule brought together eight Reversos from the first years after the model’s 1931 debut. Jaeger-LeCoultre announced the release on February 5, 2026, saying the watches would be available worldwide on its website from that date and exhibited at its New York flagship, 701 Madison Avenue, through February 23. The release highlighted a black-dial 1931 Reverso, a two-tone 1936 model with small seconds, a Cordonnet-bracelet watch, and variations of the Dame. Those are examples named by the announcement, not a full itemized inventory. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s capsule announcement

Why early Reversos are historically distinctive
Jaeger-LeCoultre dates the Reverso’s creation to 1931 and says it was developed after British military officers in India who played polo wanted a watch that could better withstand the sport. Its reversible case protected the dial by turning it toward the wrist, while its rectangular form and Art Deco lines became enduring design signatures. This is the manufacturer’s account of the watch’s origin. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s capsule announcement

The movement story also reflects the Reverso’s early years. The brand says its first men’s models used Tavannes Calibres 063 and 064, while ladies’ models used Calibres 050 and 051. It identifies Calibre 410, introduced in 1933, as the first in-house movement designed specifically for the Reverso; its small-seconds display sits at six o’clock. The QVE10101’s Tavannes 063 and QVE10800’s Calibre 410 illustrate that transition. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s capsule announcement
How Jaeger-LeCoultre says The Collectibles works
The brand describes The Collectibles as its in-house program for sourcing, restoring, and offering rare vintage watches. Its published process says ten master watchmakers service movements, rebuild components by hand, and source historical parts while preserving original character and patina. The QVE10101 page says the program assesses originality, condition, mechanical integrity, documented history, rarity, and significance to watchmaking history. These are Jaeger-LeCoultre’s stated methods and criteria, not independent condition reports for each watch. The Collectibles program QVE10101 program details
What accompanied the watches
For this capsule, Jaeger-LeCoultre said each watch would come with an extract from its archives, a complimentary copy of The Collectibles, and a handmade leather strap unless it had a metal bracelet. Original box and papers, and the original strap or bracelet, were included when available. The brand says the book can also be obtained through its website and boutiques. No, not according to the three checked official listings: QVE10101, QVE10800, and QVE20300 each display “Already sold.” The release described eight watches, so those three pages do not establish the status of every individual piece. Availability can change, and Jaeger-LeCoultre’s product pages invite visitors to sign up for the next edition of The Collectibles.

For another vintage example, the brand’s own assessment criteria offer a useful starting checklist: originality, condition, mechanical integrity, documented history, rarity, and historical significance. They are not a substitute for an independent inspection and authentication of a specific watch. Jaeger-LeCoultre’s wider Collectibles program identifies 17 emblematic models; that figure concerns the broader program, not the number of watches in this Reverso capsule. The Collectibles program
