This makes the Anyday more of a compact monthly planner than a conventional date watch: the wearer can see how dates are distributed through the week, not just the date today. How does the calendar mechanism work?
The calendar mechanism operates on a 31-day cycle. Because not every month has 31 days, Krayon says the wearer must make five quick manual corrections per year for months with 28 or 30 days. It is therefore not a perpetual calendar and should not be treated as an adjustment-free calendar watch.
Krayon says the date changes instantaneously at midnight. A cam stores energy over the course of the day and releases it at the change. That describes the brand’s account of the mechanism; the key ownership implication is that the shorter-month corrections remain the wearer’s responsibility.
