The 3100 label covers multiple configurations rather than one identical watch: check the reference to confirm the dial, strap or bracelet, and specifications. The announcement’s shared headline was a 42 mm stainless-steel case, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, and a stainless-steel bezel with a ceramic ring insert.
What Luminox announced in August 2024
Luminox UK’s August 16, 2024 announcement introduced three Pacific Diver Automatic 3100 Series watches. “New release” refers to that historical launch, not a recent launch. The announcement positioned the 3100 series as the Pacific Diver collection’s first automatic branch.
The common case-and-crystal description was 42 mm, 316L stainless steel, and sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating. The bezel was stainless steel with a ceramic ring insert. Those shared launch details do not make every later Pacific Diver Automatic configuration identical; use the model reference for particulars.
How the 3100 series differs from other Pacific Diver watches
Luminox separates the collection into distinct branches: Pacific Diver Automatic under 3100, Pacific Diver/Ripple under 3120/3120M, and Pacific Diver Chronograph under 3140, as shown in its Pacific Diver collection listings. The 3100 series is the automatic family; its name should not be used as a catch-all for the Ripple or chronograph models.

What the model references tell you
XS.3104: stainless-steel bracelet configuration
Luminox’s current US XS.3104 product page specifies a Swiss automatic Sellita SW200-1 movement, a 42 mm case measuring 13 mm thick, sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a unidirectional bezel with ceramic insert, and a stainless-steel bracelet. The page states water resistance of 200 meters / 660 feet / 20 ATM. This is the manufacturer’s published specification; it is not evidence of independent dive testing or certification.
The same listing describes Luminox Light Technology as providing constant glow for up to 25 years. That is Luminox’s claim about its lighting technology, not the service life of the watch as a whole.

XS.3101: black rubber strap configuration
The XS.3101 product page identifies a 42 mm model with a black wave-textured dial and a cut-to-fit black rubber strap. Confirm the reference when comparing it with bracelet versions; the strap is a practical configuration difference, not merely a color variation.
Midnight Mariner: a white-dial family variant
Luminox also presents a white-textured dial configuration as a Pacific Diver Automatic Midnight Mariner. It is part of the broader automatic family, but details for this version should be checked on its own listing rather than assumed from the original trio or XS.3104.

Prices, availability, and warranty depend on location
The US XS.3104 product listing displayed $1,825 when checked on October 8, 2026. This is a time-sensitive price shown on Luminox’s US page, not the 2024 launch price, a global price, or a guarantee of current stock. Check the local Luminox site and the exact reference before buying.
Luminox Europe says its two-year warranty applies only to purchases from its official websites or authorized retailers. That is a Europe-specific statement; warranty terms and eligible channels may differ elsewhere. Check the warranty terms for your country and confirm the seller is eligible before purchase.
