It also gives basic winding and setting instructions and names components in a parts list. Those documents offer a useful map of the movement, but they are not evidence of a hands-on teardown or a complete service guide.
What Miyota says the 9015 is
Miyota categorizes the Cal. 9015 as a “Premium Automatic” movement and describes it as “MIYOTA’s signature ultra-thin premium mechanical movement.” That is the manufacturer’s positioning, not an independent ranking or performance assessment. Miyota’s official 9015 product page lists these specifications and functions:

These are manufacturer specifications; they are not measurements or timing results from a test of a particular movement. The product page provides no publication year.
How to wind and set a watch fitted with a 9015
The official 9015 user manual describes three crown positions in its illustration: A for winding, B for date setting, and C for time setting. The manual’s winding instruction is: “Wind 15 ~ 20 times clockwise until second hand starts to move naturally.” This is basic user guidance, not a service or disassembly procedure.

Take care when setting the date
Miyota warns that “If the date is adjusted between the hours of around 8:30 PM and 2:00 AM the date may not change on the following day.” Follow the approximate time window as written in the manual; it does not provide a repair procedure for a date that fails to change.
What the official parts list reveals—and what it does not
Miyota’s parts-list index places the 9015 under “Premium Automatic” and links to its parts documentation. The Cal. 9015 parts list supplies names and part numbers for components including the balance bridge, balance with hairspring regulated, barrel and train wheel bridge, barrel complete, brake lever for the second hand, calendar corrector lever spring, calendar corrector wheel, center wheel and pinion, oscillating weight, pallet bridge, reversing wheel, screws, and a plastic movement holder.

This is useful for recognizing Miyota’s component terminology and locating parts in the document. A listing does not establish that every component is sold individually to consumers, and the parts list is not a step-by-step service sequence. The available manual covers winding and setting; the cited official documents do not provide a complete procedure for cleaning, lubrication, timing adjustment, screw order, or reassembly.
Can you follow a full Miyota 9015 teardown from these documents?
No. The documentation identified here supports an overview of the movement’s published specifications, basic user operation, and named components—not a safe or complete disassembly-and-service tutorial. A parts diagram can help identify pieces, but it does not explain the order or technique required to remove, inspect, clean, lubricate, adjust, and reinstall them.

Do not treat the winding instructions as permission to open the movement. If a 9015 needs internal service, use a qualified watchmaker or obtain an appropriate service procedure and training. The documents cited here do not establish a screw sequence, lubrication points, adjustment method, or repair outcome.
