Monaco Evergraph: a different chronograph mechanism
The Evergraph is the more technically distinctive of the two. According to Wallpaper*’s report, its TH80-00 movement was developed with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier. Its chronograph uses flexible bistable components made with LIGA technology in place of conventional levers and springs for start, stop and reset. The reported versions pair natural grade-five titanium with blue accents or black DLC-coated titanium with red accents.
TAG Heuer heritage director Nicolas Biebuyck summarized the distinction in the report: “They’re both in titanium, but when you look further at the details, the movement is the standout factor.”
