This is a look back at the watches featured in Time+Tide’s weekly roundup published on 27 April 2025—not a current release calendar. Its headline launches range from AWAKE’s handcrafted lacquer dials and FORMEX’s meteorite finishing to Richard Mille’s sapphire-case flying tourbillon. Prices and availability below are identified by source and date; they should not be read as live offers.
Three headline watches, three different approaches
The roundup’s three lead releases make a useful contrast: traditional lacquer work on the AWAKE Jurassic, layered blue finishing over meteorite on the FORMEX Essence Space Glacier, and a transparent sapphire case on the Richard Mille RM 75-01. Specifications and availability in the table combine the April 2025 roundup with the official product pages accessed on 8 October 2026; where those sources do not establish a detail, it is marked accordingly.

What distinguishes the three designs?
AWAKE Jurassic: lacquer over silver leaf
The Jurassic editions stand out for their colour and dial craft. The roundup identifies the orange T-REX and green RAPTORS as Sơn Mài watches, made with lacquer on silver leaf and paired with scaled salmon-skin straps. For T-REX, AWAKE’s official page adds the practical specifications: a 39 mm case, sapphire crystal, 5 ATM water resistance and an automatic La Joux-Perret G101 movement with a 68-hour reserve. A 5 ATM rating is a product specification, not a recommendation to treat a watch as suitable for every water activity.

FORMEX Essence Space Glacier: meteorite beneath blue layers
FORMEX combines a Muonionalusta meteorite dial with silver electroplating and translucent blue lacquer. The official 39 mm page describes the silver as 98% pure and confirms six blue lacquer layers. It also specifies a COSC-certified Sellita SW200-2 Power+ automatic movement, a 65-hour reserve and 10-bar water resistance. The roundup also mentions a 43 mm case option, but the cited official specifications and stock status here are for the 39 mm model.
Richard Mille RM 75-01: a sapphire case and flying tourbillon
The RM 75-01 is the most mechanically elaborate of the three in the listed specifications: its hand-wound RM 75-01 calibre drives a flying tourbillon. Richard Mille gives an approximate 65-hour reserve and 30 m water resistance. The roundup describes clear, blue-tinted and pink-tinted sapphire-case versions, with different reported quantities for each; the official page confirms the sapphire case but does not provide current price, stock or edition-count information.

How to read the prices and availability
The figures in a 2025 launch roundup answer what was reported at that time; they do not establish what a watch costs or whether it can be bought now. The difference is visible in the two official pages that still show a price: AWAKE’s T-REX page lists €2,490 against the roundup’s €2,075, while FORMEX’s 39 mm page lists CHF2,060.00 against the roundup’s €1,990. Because the currencies and dates differ, those figures should not be treated as direct price comparisons.
- AWAKE: the official T-REX page says sold out and not to be reproduced. That statement applies to T-REX, not automatically to every Jurassic colourway.
- FORMEX: the official 39 mm page says sold out. The cited status does not establish whether the 43 mm watch is available.
- Richard Mille: the official product description does not state stock status. The roundup’s price and edition counts are publication-era claims, not proof of current availability.
The roundup was published on 27 April 2025. Official pages accessed on 8 October 2026 may change after that date, so confirm a model’s current details directly with its brand before making a purchase decision.
