The Nissan GT-R G-SHOCK in this story was the sixth collaboration, released in Japan on October 17, 2024—not a new October 2026 launch. It is based on the Japan-made DW-5600, with a Millennium Jade-inspired color scheme, and Nissan lists its tax-included price as ¥19,800. Nissan’s online shop currently marks this edition out of stock.
When did the Nissan GT-R G-SHOCK come out?
The release reported under this headline was the sixth Nissan GT-R/G-SHOCK collaboration. Gizmochina reported the watch on October 10, 2024, and gave October 17, 2024 as its Japan release date. The reported sales locations were Nissan dealerships in Japan, the Nissan Global Headquarters Gallery, Nissan Crossing’s boutique and Nissan’s online shop. Online orders shipped only within Japan, according to Gizmochina’s October 10, 2024 report.
What watch is the sixth collaboration?
It is a Nissan-themed version of Casio’s DW-5600, not a newly designed GT-R watch platform. Nissan’s official sixth-edition listing identifies the Japan-made DW-5600 as its base model and describes a color scheme inspired by Millennium Jade, the GT-R body color. The listing presents the watch as a restrained design intended to suit a range of styles.
The contemporaneous report describes an all-matte-black finish, black buttons and buckle, a GT-R logo above the display, a positive LCD and an EL backlight. Those appearance and display details are reported by Gizmochina; Nissan’s product listing confirms the DW-5600 base and Millennium Jade-inspired treatment but does not enumerate every detail.

Can you still buy the October 2024 edition?
Nissan’s official listing currently marks the sixth edition out of stock. That status applies to Nissan’s online shop listing; it does not establish whether another retailer or a secondhand seller has one available. The original online-shop shipping was Japan-only, as reported at launch.
What features were reported?
Gizmochina reported the usual DW-5600-type functions, including a stopwatch, countdown timer, alarm and calendar, alongside shock resistance and 200-meter water resistance.
