Nivada Grenchen introduced four stone- and metal-focused versions of its integrated-bracelet F77: Titanium Meteorite, Titanium Anthracite, Dark Blue Aventurine and Lapis Lazuli. The reveal page described them as 37 mm watches; the brand’s current collection now separates F77 MK1 and MK2, so its later dimensions and features should not automatically be applied to those original launch variants.
What the F77 launch included
The four variants paired two dial materials with titanium or stainless steel. Nivada’s reveal page described the watches as 37 mm with integrated bracelets. It presented the Meteorite and Anthracite versions in titanium, and the Aventurine and Lapis Lazuli versions in steel.
| Launch variant | Case material | Dial | Brand’s description |
|---|---|---|---|
| F77 Titanium Meteorite | Titanium | Meteorite | Nivada says the dial’s patterns make each watch unique. The brand’s retrospective states that this version was limited to 500 pieces; that edition size does not establish present stock or future value. Nivada Grenchen retrospective |
| F77 Titanium Anthracite | Titanium | Anthracite | Positioned by Nivada as a darker take on the original F77 design. |
| F77 Dark Blue Aventurine | Stainless steel | Aventurine | Nivada describes the dial as shimmering. |
| F77 Lapis Lazuli | Stainless steel | Lapis lazuli | Nivada describes lapis as an intensely blue ornamental stone made up of several minerals. |
The material descriptions above are the manufacturer’s, not independent materials testing. See the official F77 reveal for the launch lineup.
How much did the launch versions cost?
Nivada’s reveal page listed historical prices, including a preorder price for the Meteorite. The page does not establish current pricing, and the publication year was not stated in the information available here.

Titanium or steel: the launch weight comparison
For the reveal versions, Nivada published a weight of 86 g for titanium and 126 g for steel—a 40 g difference. This is the brand’s comparison for those versions, not a universal weight specification for every F77 generation or configuration. If lower wrist weight is a priority, the Titanium Meteorite and Anthracite are the launch variants to look at; the stone-dial steel models are the heavier option in that comparison.

How the launch watches relate to F77 MK1 and MK2
The present collection page describes two generations with distinct case and design details. The launch page’s 37 mm description and the current page’s generation-specific specifications are not interchangeable. Confirm the exact reference and generation before comparing dimensions or features.
| Generation | Brand-described design and dimensions |
|---|---|
| MK1 | Closer to the original 1977 design, with a 12.65 mm thickness, basket-weave dial and slim stick indices. |
| MK2 | 38 mm diameter and 12.2 mm thickness, with a redesigned integrated bracelet, Dauphine-style hands and drilled lugs intended to make strap changes easier. The brand also lists a double-domed sapphire crystal and 100 m water resistance for MK2. |
The official collection page includes F77 variants beyond the four in the launch, with dial materials and case-material options varying by model. The specific stone-dial launch variants should not be assumed to share every later MK2 specification.

Movement and water resistance
Nivada’s current collection page says the F77 uses a Swiss-made Soprod P024 automatic movement with a 38-hour power reserve. It also lists 100 m water resistance, but buyers should check the individual reference page to confirm which generation and variant those details apply to. The launch information summarized here does not establish that every original 37 mm stone-dial watch has the later collection’s specifications.

What to check before buying
- Reference and generation: establish whether the listing is for an original launch watch, an MK1 or an MK2; the dimensions and design details differ.
- Material and dial: confirm both the case material and dial. Titanium Meteorite and Titanium Anthracite are not the same configuration as the steel Aventurine and Lapis Lazuli.
- Price and availability: treat the reveal prices as historical only. A current listing and its price must be verified with the seller or brand.
- Edition claim: Nivada states a 500-piece limit for Titanium Meteorite, but this does not show how many remain for sale or imply investment performance.
- Specifications: verify water resistance, movement, dimensions and weight against the exact reference rather than assuming collection-wide figures apply.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
