Live photos and the yellow dial
For live images, use the manufacturer’s current product gallery and the hands-on photographs in Fratello’s December 2025 review and Oracle Time’s June 22, 2026 review. Those are published photographs, not a substitute for seeing the dial under your own lighting.
Fratello reviewer Michael Stockton said the dial looked more gold than bright yellow in person. He praised its legibility and luminous dial, along with the tactile crown and distinctive domed crystal. Stockton also found the crystal notably prominent, but said its rounded profile helped the watch slide beneath a sleeve. These are his impressions of the C-1000 Y, not a universal prediction of how its color or fit will look to every wearer.
Current price, availability and purchase terms
Ollech & Wajs lists the standard C-1000 Y at CHF 1,996, with the black nylon RAF strap included. The product page labels it “AVAILABLE NOW” and estimates delivery at four weeks from order. The brand says standard pricing includes free worldwide delivery and that shipments include taxes and customs duties, while also noting regional exceptions. Fratello reported CHF 1,896 for the standard watch and CHF 2,392 with the COSC option in its December 2025 article; those figures are historical, not today’s listed standard price. The current official page text does not state the COSC option’s surcharge.
A Japanese distributor announcement carried by PR Times lists the nylon-strap C1000 Y at ¥396,000 for Japan. It is a regional price for that announced configuration, not a conversion of the Swiss price or a worldwide quote. See Ishioka Shokai’s 2026 announcement.

How it may wear
The 39.5 mm diameter is moderate by many dive-watch standards, but the 15.8 mm thickness is substantial. Stockton noted a 45.7 mm length and said the dimensions looked wearable on paper; his comments about the Y’s domed crystal and sleeve clearance add useful context, but wrist shape, strap choice and preferences will affect fit.
Henry Black’s review of the black-dial C-1000 A provides family context rather than a direct test of the yellow Y. He reported that the A wore more compactly than its thickness suggested and praised its bezel action and legibility after using it in the ocean over several weeks. The A shares the stated 39.5 mm diameter, 45.7 mm lug-to-lug length, 15.8 mm thickness and 1,000 m rating, but its dial and some configuration details differ. Read his observations as specific to the A, not proof of the Y’s performance.

These are live listed prices accessed in 2026 and may change. Stockton wished a rubber strap were included at the price; it is an extra-cost option in the current listing. The 20 mm lug width is the manufacturer’s specification, but it does not establish that every third-party strap will fit or suit the watch.

How the Y differs from other C-1000 models
The family includes distinct dial and bezel configurations. The Y has a yellow dial and a 20-minute dive-scale bezel, while the C-1000 A is the black-dial variant with a 20-minute dive scale. The C-1000 Mk II is described with a 60-minute bezel in the 2026 Japanese distributor announcement. Do not assume the Mk II’s bezel or the A’s reviewer impressions apply to the Y.
Ollech & Wajs presents the C-1000 Y as a modern interpretation of its 1964 Precision Caribbean 1000 and describes that predecessor as rated to 1,000 m. That is the brand’s historical framing; it should not be treated as independently established proof of a historical first or record.
