The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M is a family of watches, not one fixed specification. Size, dial, materials and movement depend on the exact reference: examples documented by OMEGA range from 30 mm to 41 mm, with different calibres across the line. This review covers what OMEGA’s published specifications establish—and what they do not—so you can assess a particular Aqua Terra without treating one variant’s details as universal.
What this review can—and cannot—tell you
OMEGA’s published announcements and user manual provide specifications and explain Master Chronometer certification. They do not establish independent test results, current retail prices or stock, or firsthand impressions of comfort, finishing and timekeeping. Those questions require an exact reference and, for price and availability, a market-specific check.

The variants discussed below are selected documented releases, not a complete or necessarily current catalogue. Confirm the reference on the specific watch before relying on a specification.
Which Aqua Terra 150M variants are documented?
OMEGA’s 2024 black-dial announcement and its 2025 turquoise and 30 mm announcements show why the family should not be reviewed as a single configuration.
#1 Best Overall
- Model 220.12.38.20.03.001
| Documented release | Size and movement | Other stated details |
|---|---|---|
| Black dial, 2024 | 34 mm and 38 mm: calibre 8800; 41 mm: calibre 8900 | OMEGA states 150 m / 500 ft water resistance and a five-year warranty. Details: OMEGA’s 21 June 2024 announcement. |
| Turquoise, 2025 | 38 mm: calibre 8800, 55-hour power reserve; 41 mm: calibre 8900, 60-hour power reserve | OMEGA states resistance up to 15,000 gauss and 150 m / 500 ft water resistance. Details: OMEGA’s 14 August 2025 announcement. |
| 30 mm collection, 2025 | Calibre 8750 in steel and two-tone models; calibre 8751 in Sedna and Moonshine gold models | The announcement establishes the size and material-dependent calibres; it does not provide power-reserve or water-resistance figures in the cited information. Details: OMEGA’s 12 June 2025 announcement. |
OMEGA also announced 34 mm and 38 mm steel Aqua Terra Shades models with Co-Axial Master Chronometer movements in 2023. That release is historical lineup context, not evidence that any particular Shades reference is currently available: OMEGA’s Aqua Terra Shades announcement.
How to choose a size and configuration
Start with the exact watch, not a family-level label. A 34 mm black-dial model and a 34 mm Shades model are not automatically interchangeable in dial, materials or other specifications; similarly, the movement and power reserve depend on the reference.
Rank #2
- Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra Automatic Chronometer Watch 220.10.38.20.02.001
- Case diameter: The cited releases include 30, 34, 38 and 41 mm options. Diameter alone does not establish how a watch will fit; try the specific watch on if wrist fit is decisive.
- Dial and materials: The sources cover black-dial, turquoise and Shades examples, as well as steel, two-tone and gold material categories for the 30 mm collection. They do not establish every current dial-and-material combination.
- Bracelet or strap: Check the exact reference and its listing for the supplied attachment. The cited specifications do not support a universal bracelet-or-strap claim for the family.
- Movement and reserve: Use the calibre and reserve stated for the specific reference. Do not transfer the turquoise models’ reserve figures to another Aqua Terra.
- Water resistance: OMEGA states 150 m / 500 ft for the cited 2024 black-dial and 2025 turquoise models. A rating by itself is not a recommendation for a particular water activity; follow the instructions for the exact watch.
What is the difference between calibres 8800 and 8900?
For the cited 2024 black-dial models, OMEGA assigns calibre 8800 to the 34 mm and 38 mm sizes and calibre 8900 to the 41 mm size. In the 2025 turquoise release, the 38 mm calibre 8800 model is stated to have a 55-hour power reserve, while the 41 mm calibre 8900 model is stated to have a 60-hour reserve. OMEGA also specifies resistance up to 15,000 gauss for those turquoise models.
These are reference-specific facts, not a basis for assuming that every watch using either calibre has identical specifications. The cited information does not provide a like-for-like independent performance comparison between the two movements.

What does Master Chronometer certification mean?
OMEGA’s user manual describes an eight-test process conducted over ten days. It gives movement-test criteria of -4/+6 seconds per day, followed by a complete-watch precision criterion of 0/+5 seconds per day. The manual says the checks cover precision, magnetic resistance, power reserve and water resistance. These are certification criteria; they are not a reported measurement of an individual watch reviewed here.
OMEGA identifies METAS as the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology. In an article dated 21 October 2025, the brand described the Master Chronometer program as having been introduced in 2015: OMEGA’s certification anniversary article. The testing explanation is in OMEGA’s user manual.

Warranty, price and availability
OMEGA’s 2024 black-dial announcement states a five-year warranty. Warranty terms can depend on the specific watch, purchase date and market, so check the applicable documentation rather than assuming the announcement settles the terms for every Aqua Terra.
No current price or live availability is established here. Both depend on the exact reference and sales market; check a local retailer’s listing and confirm that its reference, dial, materials and included bracelet or strap match the watch you intend to buy.

Verdict
The Aqua Terra 150M is best evaluated reference by reference. The documented line spans several sizes and materially different movement specifications, while Master Chronometer certification provides defined testing criteria rather than a personal wear or performance review. Before deciding, verify the exact reference and judge its size, configuration and seller-specific terms against your needs.
