The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M “Vancouver 2010” is an Olympic-themed limited edition made in two case sizes: 41 mm and 36.25 mm. Each size was limited to 2,010 numbered watches. The 41 mm model is reference 212.30.41.20.04.001, distinguished by its white dial, red bezel and Vancouver Games markings.

What is the Vancouver 2010 Seamaster?

It is a special-edition Seamaster Diver 300M associated with the Vancouver 2010 Winter Games. Omega’s product description says the brand would serve as Official Olympic Games Timekeeper for the 24th time at those Games; that is the Olympic context for the watch, not a claim that it was the only Omega watch connected to the event. The cited product document does not state the watch’s release year.

The original Omega product description is reproduced in a USPTO filing. Hodinkee also identifies the watch’s variants and Olympic design details in its Seamaster Diver 300M review.

Which reference and sizes were made?

Version Case size Reference Edition size
Vancouver 2010, larger version 41 mm 212.30.41.20.04.001 2,010 numbered pieces
Vancouver 2010, smaller version 36.25 mm Not stated in the cited sources 2,010 numbered pieces

Omega’s description and Hodinkee establish both case sizes and the 2,010-piece run for each. The 41 mm reference is specifically identified by Hodinkee; do not assume the 36.25 mm watch shares that reference. The edition number should be checked on the individual watch’s caseback and matched with any accompanying documentation.

What makes the design recognizable?

White dial and red bezel

The watch pairs a white lacquered dial with a red-anodized aluminum bezel. Omega describes the colors as recalling the Canadian flag as well as the snow and ice of the Winter Games. The seconds hand is rhodium-plated with a red tip, and its counterweight carries colored Olympic rings.

Low-light details and caseback

Omega specifies white Super-LumiNova on the hands and indices, with a soft blue reflection in low light. The caseback bears the Vancouver 2010 emblem and the individual limited-edition number. These details help distinguish the Olympic edition from a standard Seamaster Diver 300M, but they do not by themselves authenticate a used example.

What are the original movement and diving specifications?

The manufacturer description lists Co-Axial caliber 2500 and the following professional-diver features:

  • Unidirectional rotating bezel
  • Helium-escape valve
  • Water resistance rated to 300 metres when specified as a new model

These are original model specifications, not a guarantee about a particular pre-owned watch. Water resistance depends on the condition of the seals and the watch’s service history; have the individual watch assessed and its water resistance tested by a qualified watchmaker before using it in water.

What should you check on a pre-owned example?

Neither current market pricing nor current availability is established by the cited sources, so a listing price cannot be judged against a sourced market benchmark here. Evaluate the specific watch rather than treating the limited-edition label as proof of condition or value.

  • Reference and size: Confirm whether the watch is the 41 mm reference 212.30.41.20.04.001 or the 36.25 mm sibling.
  • Edition details: Inspect the Vancouver emblem and numbered engraving on the caseback, and compare the number with any paperwork supplied.
  • Condition and authenticity: Review clear photographs and ask a reputable seller or qualified watchmaker to verify the watch and its components.
  • Service and water resistance: Request service records and a recent pressure test if water use matters. The original 300 m specification does not establish present-day sealing.
  • Completeness: Check which box, papers and other accessories are actually included; their presence or absence should be reflected in the listing and assessed on the specific watch.

What is known about the AskMen article title?

The exact wording “My Omega Seamaster Professional 300m Limited Edition Vancouver 2010 Olympics Watch Article On AskMen.com” appears in a secondary Tumgik archive/tag result. That trail does not establish the original AskMen article’s author, publication date or full text. The watch can be identified from Omega’s product description and independent coverage, but claims about what the AskMen author wrote or personally owned are not verifiable from that archive result.
